I think the government should have followed a policy of decentralisation as everything is so Dublin centric - come to Munster, I’d be delighted to show you about 😀

Ireland isn’t perfect, but it’s not a tit show some make it out to be either

The Irish population density is 72 people per km2, the U.K. is 277 people per km2 , the Netherlands is 425 people per km2, so I think we have room for a few more.

The population of the north and south are quite different due to the plantation policy. I’m all in favour of peace and following the Good Friday peace process and looking at a referendum in the future if required.
Most of that is green fields no worthwhile infrastructure 🤷🏼‍♀️

You can also become immune to the suffering and violence and want to move beyond, that piece of land has has seen out many lives and will continue to do so long after we’re gone, there has to be a beginning of an end sometime.
Then we have situations where those who are immune to violence and leaving their land, wanting a better life...landing on the shores of other countries-then it becomes the other country's problem.
Not only being forced from your country but being dictated where you have to go?

That’s where dialogue and agreements come into play , you can’t stabilise one group of people by destabilising another ,there has to be some form of common ground found that all parties can tolerate.

I also live in Ireland, in Dublin but from the west.

Ireland is thriving! It's not perfect but its thriving and people are happy as evidenced by the recent election.

And btw I don't own a home but having lived and travelled extensively I am grateful to realise how good we have it.

Saying its on the verge of Civil war is absolute guff you would see from so called "patriot" accounts that literally are bots and the rest of them make up less than 1% of the population.

We need to do better on frastructure - no one is denying that. We have come a hell of a long way from 1980s and before.

Civil war ffs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ireland is strong. Ireland is influential. Ireland stands up for injustice. Some people don't like that and take the side of the oppressor due to a very fucked up moral compass but it makes me proud 🇮🇪🇮🇪

I watched his press secretary yesterday, I was hoping to find out more about his ''interesting'' (crazy) plans for Palestine, instead I watched an American version of ''Cunk does a press briefing'' His Press secretary is ...hopeless.....
I was particularly struck, by her Bleating on about the Palestinians returning to a land without water on tap......I agree its appalling, but what about sending a few more american support staff and finances to turn it back on again!

And re Palestinians emigrating to other countries..... no idea if some may or may not want to, but I thought it was difficult for Palestinians to get exit visas /settlement visas for other countries? Im sure I read an article saying this a few years ago, before this current war?

Although I am also waiting for President Trump, to follow up on his concern for the bombed out area of Gaza, by offering free settlement and US immigration , all expenses paid of course, to all the 2 million Palestinians he thinks need a new home.
She's an embarrassment and so unqualified for the job of press secretary. A DEI hire for sure, one might say 😁

You must be one of the lucky states the rest of the island is well overpopulated, 85,000 on the homeless list in the north 30 yr backlogs in healthcare…
We don't have states. We have counties and provinces! Says it all. Do you follow that idiot McGregor and the rest of the MAGA gobshites by any chance?

Actually read the rest of your posts - not even worth debating with.

I take it you’re a blue haired PBP headbanger 😂 any parent can’t picture a future for their children in Ireland as it stands.

Nah ! Of course we have two states the North and the Free State 😂
Are you still in Hasbara university or something?
There is no way you are from this island that's for sure. Think you need to go to your team leader and get a refresher on how things are on this island.

It's funny, there was actually a bit of sense in your earlier posts and its just slid off a cliff with a few words.

It's actually fascinating, this modern information war😂😂

Ah that's accurate enough. PBP are blue haired headbangers. We can agree there.

Great work, we're improving. That part of the script is fine.😘

OK not derailing any more!

Gives me head sorority girl vibes!
Watched her say, with a straight face, Trump has offered the Gaza plan with a "humanitarian heart" ...
Trump? Humanitarian? Heart?

In a week Trump has left how many without choices/jobs/a way to pay their mortgage or live?
Promoted the idea of using Guantanamo?
Floated a plan for ethnic cleansing in Gaza?

Humanitarian Heart?
That word...it does not mean what you think it means! 🤣

Oh Ffs! Has this one moved on to fixing Ukraine today?!
Yep, he's hanging with Putin today, who I think also has info on him iirc. There's a story I seem to remember about Trump peeing on a sex worker at a putin party and putins people were secretly filming?? ahhha!

I cant help thinking how the feck can a 78 yr old man have the energy to do all this damage in just a couple of weeks, is he on speed?! Musks ket maybe?

The deadline to taking the option of advance resignation was today, I read 1% of fed workers (civil servants as we know them in the UK) took the option.

He's clearly in the throws of dementia. It's been apparent for a while. And most of this stuff is being used as distraction, veering from one thing to another. Flooding the zone with absolute tit so no one can respond before it's on to the next. (That particular technique is Bannon's influence.)

She's an embarrassment for sure but her face was all of us during that press conference with Bibi.
