I have a duster, my husband has a step way. I had a Dacia before so when I changed, I upgraded so I have the reverse camera and the sat nav. They do charge for upgrades but they are still reasonably priced. I pay £180 a month and my husband, as he didn’t have a Dacia before, £197. They are made by Renault and (touch wood) neither of us have had any issues with our cars. Would really recommend them!

Yes. I'm on my 2nd Duster, and 3rd Dacia.
I really like it!
We did opt for a higher model so it has sat nav, air con, electric windows etc. I dont know what fancy options its missing but I certainly dont feel it lacks anything. Comfortable, big boot.
It's very similar inside to a Renault, and I believe it has a Nissan engine. Dont quote me on that though

My dad's friend has a duster. He likes it . They are part of the Renault group. The cars seem quite basic and don't seem to have all the fancy options other cars have as standard. The seats don't look that comfy in pics .
New / nearly new Dacias are as cheap as lots of used cars, if newness is important over other factors.

My mum has a Dacia and she loves it. She’s had it a few years and it’s really reliable. Big boot etc. If she had to get a new car I think she’d get another.

It's worth noting that the Sandero is due a replacement which is coming to showrooms next year. The outgoing model is based on an old Renault Clio platform whereas the new one will be based on the current Clio. The pricing should be relatively the same.

I don't own a Dacia but would definitely consider one if I was looking for a new car, looked at them a few years back and was really impressed.

Good news!

Honestly, I'd be super petty and refuse to buy a Dacia until they change their advertising (at least in the UK) to pronounce the brand name the way James May does.

I think my dad's friend mentioned that but it might be that Nissan use the Renault diesel engine rather than the other way around

I have done more research and they seem to have a lot of failure on the starter motor?
Thank you all
