Do you get invested in your kids TV shows?

Honestly, I must have too much time on my hands because I just have so many thoughts and questions about half of the TV shows on Cbeebies. I try and relay my thoughts back to my partner and he just gives me a funny look. Too often the telly is on and I find myself watching these kids shows

Hey Duggee- is it just me or does Betty have the most screen time? She is definitely the Bing of the show (see Bing). Why doesn't Duggee talk even though every other animal can? What is with the episode when the squirrels give him a bath? Is it not a bit strange their giving their squirrel leader a BATH!? I know he's a dog but come on! I love the way Happy is a crocodile but his Mum/Dad is an elephant.

Bing- what a brat! What is Flop? The other animals sock carers have normal names but Flop is called Flop!? Where are his parents? Is it Flop? Whoever it is who is to blame for Bing being a spoilt little brat! Why is Pando never wearing pants??

Mr Tumble- patron Saint of Cbeebies. He must ALWAYS be busy the amount of bloody TV shows that guy does

Teletubbies- the best. Watched this when I was a kid. Just winds me up when they go 'again again' and they play the bloody video again. My son absolutely flips, he wants to watch Teletubbies not some random kids having fun!

Molly & Mack - the Dad is RAVEN. Mind-blowing! This show is tolerable, I did think the Dad & brother were Mollys gay parents at first. And I don't see why Mack has his name in the title because the show is barely about him. When are the Dad and the short haired woman gonna bang?

Andy the presenter- he's the next Mr Tumble. He's in everything!!

Grace's amazing machines- does she really like those machines?

Octonauts- shitter Go Jetters

Baby Club- ughhhh Giovanna!!! Where's Nigel

Moon & Me- some trippy tit!! I just say onions over and over once I've watched it

In the Night Garden- even more trippy tit. The intro makes me slightly emotional and idk why. I always guess whether it's gonna be the Ninky Nonk or the Pinky Ponk at the start

And breathe!!!

Oh god, my two are going through a serious Octonauts phase (last month it was Go Jetters). Eldest’s special interest at the moment is sea creatures. He’s actually learning so much and I’m amazed at all the facts he can tell me, but if I hear the Octonauts theme song one more time ...

I used to find myself watching CBeebies long after my kids had went for a nap when they were at that stage. Hate Bing, love Duggee.

I just can't warm to Octonauts! I like Go Jetters though. If I'm in another room and hear the unicorn I find myself shouting FUNKY FACTS FUNKY FACTS. Without realising

The two guys from Swashbuckle, Cook and Line is it, really make me laugh even though it’s daft kids humour.

Bloody LOVE raa raa’s theme tune

agree fully with all the CBeebies presenters. Evie is the most annoying.

My son is fond of Peter rabbit but Benjamin really gets on my tits and Lily is so predictable with her ‘just in case pocket, just incase’

We are also a peppa pig household and I’m still always irked by how irritating peppa is. Miss Rabbit holds that town together. My husband said to me this evening ‘I think I’ll still hear this theme tune when I’m dead’
