OMG, I do that but mine is due to draughts too - single glazed sash windows.

Thought of another thing I do - I have to bring my handbag upstairs with me at night. I can’t leave it downstairs in case we are burgled.

Me and my other half argue about how the dishwasher should be loaded with plates all the time. It should be from the outside in, he thinks it should be inside out.
You are correct!
My husband doesn’t realise things go in certain places in the dishwasher - you can’t just load it all willy nilly!
Wow haven’t used that phrase for years!

I have to eat with a little spoon (and I have my favourite one). Big spoons just give me the ick!

If I have toast example 3 slices I have to butter them in order of which came out the toaster 1st and eat them in order too.
I can not go to bed unless my kitchen is spotless and the sink has been dried.
I can not get in an unmade bed.
I have to open my curtains and blinds ASAP when I get up in every room.
I can not stand to be bare foot or in socks, it’s like I can not function at all, I have converse that I wear only in the house even with pyjamas, I can’t wear slippers either

I always separate food and non food when packing my shopping at the supermarket. I could never put cleaning products in with food.

I bag mine by category, so fridge, dry goods, freezer etc. This used to means they had to go onto the conveyor belt in that order too which could be a bit of a faff. Scan and go is much easier.

If you shop at Aldi/Lidl I'm very impressed you manage this when the checkout person scans and flings items at you at the speed of light I have to brace myself at the checkout every time like I'm about to run a gauntlet!

I check the back and front doors are locked about 3 times before I go to bed. And all the windows
The amount of times I have to get myself out of bed because I convince myself I haven’t locked the front door. I always have.

I also have to press my car key 5 times to lock the car. Just in case.

Ah I just fling it all back into the trolley then pack afterwards on that ledge thing behind the tills

I don't know if this counts but I don't like trailers. I don't mind for films but if there's a new series coming out of a show I already love I won't watch the trailer cause I'd rather go in completely blind

I cannot open crisps upside down it freaks me out when my husband does it

...

I can only drink a hot drink if I’ve had a cold drink before it
I smell my cutlery
Seeing milk in a glass makes me gag.

I have house shoes. I hate being barefoot or walking in socks , I tend to trip over my toes and we have hard floors that are too cold. I hate it when I have to take my shoes off at people's houses. ( I was once at a friend's house who had limestone tiles and I had to be barefoot, it took me hours to get my feet warm again).
I can't wear slippers since I fell down the stairs in them .

If I take a glass of water from the tap I have to fill and empty the water 3 times before I drink it
I could never just go fill a glass of water from the tap and drink it
Yep! I work in the water industry and still stick by the ‘run the tap and count to 20’ rule.

I also cannot take a glass out the dishwasher or the cupboard and drink straight from it need to rinse it.

Cannot drink juice/water from a mug or cup. Has to be a glass. If I’m ever really thirsty and it’s the only thing available to drink from I will. But I loathe it.

I hate eating when adverts are on! I'll sit and wait with my food if they are on until the show starts or carries on
I do this. I also refuse to listen to adverts if I cannot skip them. YouTube is getting insanely bad for ads that cannot be skipped. I mute my show until the ad is over. I’m so petty

“get one from the back” is what my mum says It’s also practical though cos fresh food have longer best before dates at the back!

- I also obsessively check my doors are locked before bed.
- Check under the stairs and downstairs toilet that no ones hiding too
- Rinse my toothbrush before I use it.
- Go around switching off unused plugs sockets

There’s probably loads more that I don’t realise I do!

I do this! I used to laugh at my nan and grandad cause they would mute the ads and then unmute when the show came back on. I now do that exact thing. Mostly cause adverts are 3 times louder than the tv show! There's nothing worse than watching something and all of a sudden getting blasted by a tv ad!!
