The victim blaming in this thread and the complete lack of understanding what being in an abusive relationship is like is actually disgusting.

He physically abused her so she was scared for her physical heath, he mentally abused her so she 'believed' that she deserved this treatment, that he loved her etc., There was clearly copious amounts of drugs and alcohol which he supplied which can also impair your judgement and ability to see the reality of what was going on. He had hundreds of tapes of blackmail of her doing these freak-off's that he could release to any one at any time and humiliate her.

He controlled her career and finances 100% so it's very possible she was not in a financial position to leave and he would always reel her in with the promise of new music which would potentially give her freedom.

He was one of the most connected people in the music industry and in hollywood if he blackballed her she'd have absolutely nothing.

He clearly has gang connections so she probably feared for her life if she left given what she'd seen or what she knew and he demonstrated his threats to her by blowing up Kudi's car so she knew he was a credible threat.

She was constantly surrounded by his team, by celebrities that fawned over him or relied on him so she probably thought there was no one she could really turn to for help as they were all in her pocket. These are people that watched him beat the shit out of her and did nothing so why would they help her. These people were all paid by Diddy to manipulate her and convince her that Diddy loved her when they thought she might leave.

Also can we just remember that literally LA police officers attended these freakoffs or saw the abuse first hand and did nothing. Why would she think she could or should escape when Diddy was literally connected to the police.

If you're on the side of Diddy in any way shape or form you need to take a hard look at yourself.

My point was she said she didn't dare leave him because of the freak offs because of his threats to leak vids etc, yet she left because she saw a pic of him on ig with another woman. Wasn't petrified to leave him then was she? If she was that scared she wouldn't have left him then met him shortly after for a closure conversation. Fuck closure if you're petrified of someone u keep aware
This is a very narrow minded view of abusive relationships in general.
I also think the narrative of her leaving purely due to seeing him with other women is a bit of a poor one if I’m honest. She’d previously tried to leave due to his behaviours and had been hunted down, beaten up, threatened etc.
Him having another woman could actually have been her only “out” because he’d found a new victim.

Understanding abusive men/relationships is extremely hard if you haven’t been in one. Sadly, if they’ve found a new supply, you’re less at risk. Equally, he’d controlled her so much, he probably thought she’d be safe to let go at this point…but he still had stuff in his back pocket.

it take a woman, on average, 7 times to actually leave an abusive partner. There are many factors involved, including still feeling the betrayal of being unfaithful. As I said, abuse fucks with your head, your boundaries blur, your reality isn’t the same as ‘normal’.
I was with my abusive ex for just under a year. Looking back there were so many times I wanted to leave or I should have left but I didn’t. Then one day, I just couldn’t take any more and I did manage to leave…then I faced an onslaught of abuse/fear/threats for the next 8-12 months until he found a new partner. He’s done it to others, and similar to Cassie, they put up with a lot until he cheated. It’s more common that what you think and it’s not fair to judge from the outside

Someone on the previous thread just asked about how a victim could ‘recruit’ others re human trafficking.
HT is my area of work and sadly this is extremely common.
Someone also asked why they’re detailed the abuse when it’s ’not what he is on trial for’, what do you think is involved as part of human trafficking? A lot of the behaviours that are similar to abusive relationships also take place in trafficking situations.
trafficking isn’t just about moving people from A to B. Trafficking involves a lot of deception, threats/violence, coercion etc which is the same as his behaviour towards cassie.

Coming back to the recruitment element. This will likely be one of the things that haunts cassie. She will have done this, like many other extremely questionable things, purely to survive. Abuse genuinely fucks with your head…you do things to try please your abuser. The whole first part of this trial is very relevant to the charges he faces. He is a despicable person and I hope he goes down for a long time

It seems like some people on this thread don't fully understand the psychological impact of coercive control. Victims can feel emotionally attached to the very people they’re terrified of—this kind of trauma bond is a well-documented dynamic in abusive relationships. Also, let’s not forget that Diddy paid her $20 million in damages—a settlement of that size speaks volumes and amounts to a tacit admission of guilt.

Updates I missed:

• A third alleged victim, known under the pseudonym of Jane, will likely testify by Wednesday afternoon.
• Combs’ lawyers highlighted a social media post by Mia giving birth to a fake baby in 2013, with Combs as the doctor.
Can I just say - a massive thank you for all the work your putting in with the updates ❤

Today’s court updates (ongoing as of the time of writing):

• A man was kicked out of the courtroom yesterday after revealing Mia’s real name on his YouTube channel. Prosecution won the right to bar him from the courtroom should he try and return.
• First up - Eddie Garcia, an employee at the InterContinental Hotel, where the infamous Cassie assault took place.
• He says he received a call from Combs’ right-hand woman, Kristina Khorram - dubbed Combs’ “manipulator in chief” -, who asked if she could see the footage of Combs assaulting Cassie.
• She is said to have stated that Combs was intoxicated and didn’t remember exactly what happened. Garcia told her she’d have to contact management regarding her request.
• Garcia said Khorram showed up at the hotel looking for him hours later. He told her he couldn’t help her; but that the footage was “pretty bad.”
• Later that night, Garcia said Combs contacted him. He was “very nervous, was talking really fast, was saying that he’d had a little too much to drink, and that I knew how things were with women… if this got out, it could ruin him.”
• Combs asked Garcia to provide the video; but he said he couldn’t. This allegedly led to both Combs and Khorram repeatedly contacting him, both on his home and personal numbers.
• After repeated unwanted contact from Combs and Khorram, Garcia gave in. He talked to his boss, Bill Madrano, who said he’d give Combs the tape for $50,000. Combs was “excited” to hear this news and referred to him as his “angel”.
• Medrano then allegedly showed up to his office “and shortly after came out of his office and made his way to the server.” He then came back, handed Garcia a USB and said “done”. Medrano then met with Combs and gave him the USB.
• Garcia requested immunity before testifying earlier in the trial, which he was granted.
• A female Combs supporter was removed from court for disrupting proceedings on Tuesday, telling Combs everybody was “laughing” at him in every courtroom.”
• Garcia claims Combs made him sign an NDA when he handed him the assault video. The document included $1m in damages should Garcia breach its confidentiality.
• Combs then allegedly handed Garcia $100k in cash. “He mentioned he’d take care of us, so the additional $50k was for me and what he thought was Israel Flores”. Flores took the stand earlier in the trial and declined a bribe.
• Combs asked Garcia what he was going to do with the money, and warned him against making extravagant purchases that could draw attention.
• Garcia said his boss - Medrano - made $50k, another guard - Harry Elias - $20k, and himself $30k, with which he bought a used car.
• Before Garcia accepted Combs’ money, he told him he was concerned that Cassie would report the assault to police. Combs then called Cassie, who spoke to Garcia. Combs told her to “tell him you want this to go away, too.” Cassie told him she did.

• At the time Garcia signed the NDA (mentioned above), he was making $10.50 an hour as hotel security. He also signed a document swearing there was no other copy of the tape. He signed these documents in an office building, and in the presence of Khorram and Combs’ bodyguard.
• Garcia said he didn’t read the documents fully as he was nervous and “the goal was to get out of there as soon as possible.”
• The $100k Combs paid was fed through a money counter and put in a brown paper bag.
• It took two days for Combs to bury the assault video.
• Next up, Derek Ferguson, Combs’ former Head of Finance. He worked for Combs from 1998 to 2017, and stated he was only testifying as he was subpoenaed.
• Prosecutors were motioning to ban the media outlet who identified Mia’s real identity from reporting on the case further. The judge: “Given Jane (another alleged victim under a pseudonym) is going to testify, if there’s a proposed instruction that might be fortified, I’ll consider that.”
• Ferguson confirmed that, in 2011, Combs’ bank account received $20k from Cassie’s mother; which was then sent back, corroborating her testimony that she had to pay him $20k because Cassie was dating Kid Cudi and threatened to release sex tapes of her.
• When asked if he ever saw anyone help Combs commit crimes, see anyone commit acts of violence, “make the company stronger” through violent threats or see anyone “enhance Combs’ reputation through emotional, physical or sexual abuse”, Ferguson said he did not.
• Ferguson “didn’t know how to answer” whether or not he still thinks highly of Combs.

As always - all updates I missed to follow in the morning. And thanks once again for all the love. It’s very much appreciated. ❤

To the comment about her "actively trafficking other women" im very HAPPY you aren't aware how this abuse works. Trying to apply your own knowledge to this is not how to understand it. She was groomed, owned, abused and used by this man.

The comment regarding her leaving because she saw him with another woman. I'm not sure what this actually means. Events lead up to someone finally being able to escape. Plus none of us actually know.

Ive seen such horrible things online about how her husband should leave her. It makes me sad for women.

Also, we will never know if she would have been a competitor against Beyonce because she never got the chance.

Virginia Guffre also recruited young girls for Epstein. She was first recruited by Gislain Maxwell. These male predators couldn’t do so without the help of women.

It's a common theme. These monsters know what they are doing. It's gradual.

It's grooming.

Anyone asking, but why didn't she...needs to understand the impact of coercive control. Here's a definition:

Coercive control is a persistent pattern of controlling, manipulative, and intimidating behaviours that aim to strip away a person’s autonomy and sense of self. Unlike physical violence, coercive control is often insidious and cumulative.

Key Features of Coercive Control:

1. Isolation from Support Systems

Cutting off or limiting contact with friends, family, and professionals.

Undermining trust in others to increase dependency on the abuser.

2. Control of Everyday Life

Regulating what the person eats, wears, or where they go.

Monitoring communications, movements, or finances.

Imposing rules that are arbitrary and inconsistent.

3. Degradation and Humiliation

Verbal abuse, insults, or constant criticism.

Gaslighting: denying or distorting facts to make the victim doubt their reality.

Shaming or mocking, particularly in private settings.

4. Microregulation and Surveillance

Excessive monitoring (e.g. checking phone, GPS tracking, home surveillance).

Punishments for perceived infractions, often with psychological consequences.

5. Threats and Intimidation

Threats to harm the victim, their loved ones, pets, or themselves.

Threats involving children (e.g. custody, social services).

Use of looks, gestures, or silence to intimidate.

6. Financial Abuse

Restricting access to money or employment.

Accumulating debt in the victim’s name or controlling all financial decisions.

7. Emotional and Psychological Manipulation

Creating a climate of fear, unpredictability, and dependency.

Rewriting narratives so the victim feels responsible for the abuse.

Alternating kindness with cruelty (“intermittent reinforcement”).

8. Sexual Control

Coercing or manipulating sexual activity.

Using sex as a form of reward or punishment.

9. Use of Children or Institutions as Weapons

Undermining the victim’s relationship with their children.

Involving authorities (e.g. police, immigration, social care) to threaten or control.

10. Normalisation of Abuse

Presenting abuse as love, protection, or necessary discipline.

Over time, the victim internalises the control, which makes leaving more difficult.

Unless the dynamics of coercive control are properly understood, there’s a real risk of unintentionally blaming victims. Its insidious nature means people often fail to recognise just how devastating its effects can be—especially given how widespread it is.

Yet she still decided to suggest meeting up to gain closure 🙄 🤔
and your point is? So did i does that mean I’m responsible and complicit in the abuse inflicted on me? Or are you saying that she and I were not abused because we behaved in certain ways that would be considered to an outside view as “not how an abuse victim would behave“? Or were neither of us sexually assaulted or raped because we were not held down and at other times consented to sexual contact?

I'm not victim shaming at all & glad everyone knows what a pig diddy is but I'm slightly concerned that he has been charged with sex trafficking etc... but the focus seems to be on domestic violence, could the case be thrown out or be found not guilty as the prosecution have not (this far) proven he has sex trafficked anyone? Personally I hope he burns in hell for being a absolutely cock-nobbler
Absolutely, they are setting the scene. Domestic violence, the odd slap, punch or kick? Or for his sick thrills…
1, He got her hooked on drugs.

2, intimidation: he would take her phone, controlled her finances and career, threatened her family, plus allegedly blew up Kid Cudi’s car.

3, wouldn’t let her leave some freak offs for days until her wounds had healed.

4, coerced her to have unprotected sex with escorts/prostitutes without protection. Even if she was already suffering with sores in her mouth and vagina and wanted to use a condom. He said NO.

5, he transported these prostitutes over state lines, drugged and paid them, threatened them. And then would intimidate any witnesses.
This goes beyond domestic violence. Hence the sex trafficking charges. This is a powerful pos that got off on controlling everyone and so full of himself that the only way he could ‘get off’ was to make people do the most disgusting, depraved shit against their will.
And that’s just the one charge.

I'd be surprised if JLO testified. P Diddy caved th eway for her career and I feel like she has a lot of skeletons in her closet. She wouldn't risk her reputation. I know a lot of rumours suggest her and Ben were more a mutually beneficial showmance couple, it makes sense why he cut ties when the Diddy stuff was brought up as he cares equally as much about his reputation as she does.

I don't doubt JLO would have also been a victim of Diddy but I can imagine she was a lot more streetwise than Cassie. She's a social climber and might of had some equally powerful protection around her that would keep his threats at bay. I feel like she would have been able to a put a bit more boundaries in place than Cassie and was probably trying to use him for her career and then left him when she could.
JLO won’t be a victim. Shes gonna be pulled up I recon because of the whole club shooting scenario or some other reason 🤷🏻‍♀️

in other news.. Fifty Cent is at it again.. 🤣

Taking $20,000 off a family that is clearly a lot worse off financially than him was a power play 100%. What does a millionaire want with a random $20k... The more that comes out about this man, the worse it gets. Money & ego.

The victim blaming in this thread and the complete lack of understanding what being in an abusive relationship is like is actually disgusting.
There are some really great posts explaining the effects of domestic abuse and coercive control and why victims don't always act logically or in the way people want a perfect victim to

I would just mention, like on many threads based around women's issues, sometimes when people post these views they might believe them (ignorance/naivety/misogyny) and sometimes there is a bitter and myisogynist man typing one-handed somewhere probably quite liking the idea of upsetting women with these views. And much like abusers having women repeatedly explain themselves/plead to have victimhood recognised they get a little thrill.

I hope Cassie is getting some rest and support now.

Today’s updates, from the Daily Mail (still ongoing at time of posting):

• Today’s hearing began at 10:30 local time, instead of the usual 8:30, for an unknown reason.
• Cross examination continued for Bryana Bongolan. She was grilled on inconsistencies between her first lawsuit against Combs and her current claims, including an apparently false claim that Combs sexually assaulted her. Bryana blamed these inconsistencies on her previous lawyer, who got “many of the things he said” incorrect.
• The judge agreed to the prosecution’s request to turn off TV monitors normally used to display evidence when Jane, a pseudonym for Combs’ ex-girlfriend testifies later. This is because the evidence presented will contain her actual identity. The jury will receive redacted versions of this evidence within 24 hours.
• The media have also been banned from describing or sketching Jane in any way that could reveal her identity.
• Bryana was questioned as to why she continued a friendship with Combs after he allegedly assaulted her, via the form of a text she sent Cassie asking if Combs wanted a sweatshirt. She said she was “trying to be cool” in the immediate aftermath of the alleged assault.
• A question from the defence: “Isn’t it true that you continued to hang out with Mr Combs and continued to spend the night at Ms Ventura’s house because he did not cause you those injuries?” Bryana’s answer: “Part of the statement is correct; and part I can’t agree with.”
• A breakfast bill Combs paid at the Trump International Hotel in New York in September 2016 was displayed to the court. It cost him $700 (4 breakfasts and a $5 runner’s fee).
• The defence showed the jury evidence that Combs was actually in New York at the Boys and Girls benefit on September 26, 2016 - the day that he allegedly assaulted Bryana, not in Los Angeles as she claims. Bryana agreed that a person can’t be in two places at the same time “in theory”.
• Bryana denied the lawyer’s suggestion that she was lying and that Combs hadn’t caused her injuries - but she didn’t explicitly say no. Instead, she softly stated: “I can’t agree with you.”
• Next up - Enrique Santos. He’s working for the prosecution. He says he pulled data from three separate cellphones that were obtained from Cassie.
• Next up - Jane. A single mother who was allegedly victimised in 2020. Combs allegedly “pursued and romanced” her, leading her to fall in love quickly. She wasn’t dating other men at the time, but he was dating other women, thus meaning their relationship was private.
• She met Combs in Miami in late 2020 while on a girl’s trip. Combs was dating one of her friends at the time and paid for the trip. He was “really charming, really nice and I was really drawn to him pretty instantly.”
• She dated Combs from 2021 to his arrest in 2024. They had code names for each other - she “Bert” and he “Ernie”.
• Their first official date was in January 2021 in a Miami hotel, which evolved into a five-day stay. They ate dinner together, watched the sunrise and took morning walks. After the trip, she was “pretty much head over heels with Sean already.”
• Soon after, she joined Combs on his private jet for a nine-day trip to Turks and Caicos, and a later trip to the Bahamas. On both of these trips, Jane says the pair did drugs, particularly ecstasy.
• Jane says after each trip Combs gifted her $10,000 to make up for the work she lost as a social media influencer. The pair were still dating when Combs was arrested.
• Jane’s first “Freak Off” occurred in 2021. “We would search specific things on websites and in the middle of being high he just really wanted me to fantasise or talk about other men and this type of role play about other men. He started saying, “I can make this fantasy a reality if you’d like it to happen; I can make it happen.” She agreed, because “it seemed he wanted that and it was turning him on.” Combs then moved to arrange hiring an escort for this purpose.
• A few months after the first “Freak Off”, Jane told Combs she no longer wished to participate in them. He would allegedly brush the topic aside, before the pair would participate in further “freak offs”.
• Combs then began paying her rent, which made her feel “obligated” to continue having sex with male escorts.
Combs reprimanded by the judge. He twice saw Combs looking at the jury and “nodding vigorously” during Bryana’s cross-examination. The judge called this behaviour “absolutely unacceptable” and warned it “cannot happen again”, saying he’d consider further measures if it didn’t stop, such as kicking him out of his own trial! “There should be no efforts whatsoever to have an interaction with this jury.”

As always, more updates to follow in the morning if there are any!

The fans cheering for Diddy outside are scum. Regardless of what anyone felt was and wasn't proven about Cassie in this particular trial, we have all seen that video of him undeniably attacking her. That's the man they idolise? They must think she was 'asking for it'.

....BUT, even if she had lost all her money I still think she was in a better position than most women.
Could she not have left & gone to her mum"s? 🤔
except the man she's trying to escape is a violent multi millionaire who has plenty of people on his payroll to pester you and make your life a misery.

This is also the person suspected of ordering the murders of Tupac, Biggie and possibly his ex girlfriend who he also abused.

I think it's obvious some people have no knowledge about domestic violence. It doesn't just stop because you want it to!
