DBS / CRB check help?

Hi all. I’m doing some volunteering work during the pandemic and need to do the dbs check. I need to provide proof of my address and don’t have much info... if I select the bank statement can I just show the top part with my name/ address and bank info from online or do they need t see everything? I feel a bit uncomfortable about it. Thanks

Hi, I work with volunteers. We use bank statements, as long as it shows your name, address and a date within the last 3 months it should be ok.
I sent one off with all the transactions blacked out and it wasn’t returned.

Can’t I just copy the top part then? I feel uncomfortable them seeing my financial situation

Yes, that should be fine. It’s just to verify your address. There should be no issue as long as they can see an address and date.
