DBS check for childminder

I was planning to work from home at my mums house for three days soon (I’ll be without WiFi at my own house and my office is closed due to Covid).

She is a childminder so has been DBS checked, as have the other people who live in the house. However she’s unsure whether I’m allowed to work there without being DBS checked myself. I’ve looked online but I’m struggling to find anything specific. I’d actually have been happy to have a DBS check but it won’t come back in time.

Just wondering if anyone knows whether this is allowed? I’ll be working in my sisters room with her as she has a proper setup and the children who aren’t at school during the day will be downstairs in their playroom. But obviously I don’t want my mum to get into trouble!

You need to be dbs checked or not left alone to go anywhere in the house by yourself ( but more realistic is you going no where near the children )
