Hello. Sleep deprivation has caused me to have really bad dark eye bags (thanks kids!) I've tried all sorts but nothing seems to work that well. I'm in my early 30s and don't want to look exhausted all the time. Can anyone reccomend anything please. X

I am the OP of this thread... So I know people have said it's genetic but genuinely my eyes were fine until my baby was born 😂 and no one in my family seems to have the same issues. I'm blaming it purely on lack of sleep lol. I've been using a dark circle corrector from boots and I have seen a difference, not huge difference, but enough to notice an improvement. I also know I don't drink enough water so that's probably not helpful.

SO, sorry to bump this up but I remembered some people had used it. Bought this, have been using it fairly consistently for about 5 days now, no problems. Yesterday morning it was a weeny bit stingy when I put it on, but fine in the evening. Then this morning I put it on, stingy again, but also brought up the bottom of my eye bag (sexy) quite red. And I thought "weird, but it'll go away". Only...it's been 10 hours and there's still just a red mark in the same shape. It's not warm, it doesn't sting, it doesn't look swollen, it's just a red mark.

Really weird as well - I think there's a definite improvement in my eyelids already, but really hoping this is just a one off reaction so I can keep using the stuff!
Oh no, hope you are ok and the redness goes down

Dark circles are genetic, there's generally nothing you can do without needles to get rid of them.

Exactly.

If you can't afford them, Dr Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol eye serum is good. Fairly pricey but it works.

I drink a lot of Caffeine!
I had a bit of a monster addiction a few years ago and mine were definitely worse then! I've limited my caffeine intake a lot (went off it during pregnancy) and it has improved a bit. Still have but definitely not as bad as they were a few years ago!
