Can anyone suggest the best way to tackle my cracked dry heels? I have a foot file but it’s more like a sandy nail file type and it doesn’t cut it. Thought about a PedEgg but not sure if they are any good?

A Newton’s chiropody sponge (green box). A few quid on Amazon or from your local pharmacy. It isn’t spongy at all, it’s a grey, brittle thing that weighs barely anything and looks like lava rock. It works like an absolute charm on crusty feet, just use it according to the instructions (wet skin and soap up the wet sponge before scrubbing the wet skin). A couple of mins on each area every night and your skin will be fab. I don’t rate those skin peeling socks you can buy, I find that they leave my feet too soft and make my shoes rub.

When you’ve got rid of your hard skin I highly recommend E45 cream to keep your feet soft. I have tried loads of special heel balms but that stuff is the best. Honestly, trust me!

Flexitol heel balm off amazon. I didn’t believe a cream would sort my crusty trotters but it’s amazing!!! Bit of a foot file first then every night before bed! Try it x

Newton’s Sponge.. you will never go back. Get it wet under the tap and rub some soap over it. Your feet will be so smooth.

O keeffes healthy feet foot cream. Has worked wonders for my feet. Once a week I use a foot mask after using a pumistone. Then every night I use the foot cream apply then put cotton socks on. My feet are soft now

I have very dry feet and use to have cracked heels. I use any oil or body lotion on my feet. Once applied i wear socks to keep the moisturiser in. Since lockdown, I've been doing this morning and night. Works a treat.

Give them a file over with a foot file and use Flexitol twice a day . It's amazing . You can buy it anywhere. Drs prescribe this for diabetics..it's incredible stuff.

I would seriously recommend a foot peeling mask. Works wonders, take a week or 2 but worth it. (Buy from amazon)
