Hi everyone
I’ve just started my CPCAB level 2 in counselling. At my first class the other night the tutor only let me know I could do my level 2&3 combined which would of saved me a year of studies!

Sod’s law... anyway I’m on my journey to becoming a qualified counsellor. It will take 4 years to become qualified and a 2 more years after that to specialise. I’m making up hours at the minute volunteering for shout charity as it’s home based.

Just wondering if anyone else here is a trained counsellor? I’d love to hear from you and your experiences. Tips and advice Or Maybe you’re training Too ? I’d love to hear what courses you have done and how you have go to where you are?

I’m a little daunted at the fact this is a long journey but it feels like the right one and I’m so excited 🌟

Good luck :) my bestie did her counselling degree as a mature student, followed by her masters and finished her counselling psychology doctorate in lockdown.
