Thank you I can see it now, I think this is one of the series of programming created to demonise people on benefits
It’s more often than not people with substance abuse issues offered money to participate and never presented in a positive way
The pensioner selling / borrowing money on his TV needs to get rid of that rum drinking parasite woman that is living off his benefits instead of claiming her own
I didn’t see much cooking what meals did you mean?
I agree, I don't think it shows any of it in a good way an honestly gives everyone that's on benefits a bad name because people see these programs an think that's the way everyone is, it's like they take the worst parts from people lives to show when it's probably not like
I was on ESA an only that when my anxiety was at crippling levels an I absolutely HATED being viewed as a "benefit" person because so many people look down on those that's on them without knowing why they are on them, people just think it's drink an drugs and no desire to work an I was constantly judged as being like when it wasn't the case, as soon as I mentioned I wasn't working I could instantly see the judgement, I've never touched any of that an I was desperate to get back into work but I was limited as to what my work environment could be so it was hard to find anything, it was honestly depressing because I come from a family that's always worked an I have worked myself from 10 doing sweetie rounds an Avon then from 16 in retail so being out a few years hit hard, I am finally back working now an am loving my job but it took a while with finding an then working with help programmes to get my job
This programme also reminds me of the ones they done where I think they called it too
large to work which I also think was done to put those in a bad light an make people view them as being lazy an greedy without telling you anything more than why they were like that
