Can anyone recommend any good cosmetic/perfume dupes? I've tried some of the Aldi skincare range and been really impressed so want to try more :)

Ooh which of the aldi skincare dupes did you like? I tried their nip and fab glycolic pads dupe but they were much drier and had barely any product. Loved their pink clay range though!

German made Nivea Creme (you know the one that comes in the blue tin and is usually £1?) is almost a dupe for Creme de la Mer (£125). They have the same base ingredients. The only difference is Creme de La Mer has some seaweed extracts, so if you account for that by adding The Ordinary Marine Hylauronics (approx £6), you can save about £118.
Nivea is quite greasy and heavily perfumed though, so not good for sensitive skin or wearing during the day/under make-up IMO. I use the combination occasionally at night. I generally prefer to use Nivea on my body when it needs extra moisturising (elbows and ankles)

I have used the Lacura Rejuvenate day cream with SPF, which is a dupe for the Loreal Revitalift face creams
The healthy grow exfoliating tonic which is a dupe for the Pixi glow tonic
Snapshot primer, which is a dupe for the Smashbox photo finish primer
Pineapple face serum, which is a dupe for the Glow Recipe Pineapple - C serum

I particularly love the pineapple serum and the day creams.

I'm just about to give their retinol serum, and the vitamin c serum a go too, and the perfume dupes :)

I recommend the Perfume Parlour website for dupes. There's a huge selection, and very reasonably priced. I've bought from there quite a few times.

I use Estée Lauder double wear but was resenting using it for work etc, as it isn’t the cheapest.
decided to give the £5 primark dupe a try and I have to say I’m impressed, it’s got decent coverage, is buildable, goes on nicely and doesn’t oxidise

would recommend

I have a friend send me over the giant tins of Nivea every few months because it’s the best body moisturiser. I am like a giant slug each night. It’s fantastic.

Milton Lloyd do perfume dupes. I use Vogue (Chanel No 5) and Jean Yves to Go which smells just like Gucci Rush. If you look on Ebay, you can buy six of the same perfume (55ml bottle) for £21.99. Just bought six more Vogue today. Milton Lloyd Summertime also smells like a slightly lighter version of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. There are loads of different ones, but not all smell like the real thing. https://smell-a-likes.com/brand/milton-lloyd/3

This probably isn't very helpful, but I've been using 'Philosophy one step cleanser' which has a very good price point and it reminds me so much of a pricey cleanser which I just cannot pinpoint. Someone else might know the one I mean (I've used so many over the years). Everything about it is the same - the texture, the scent, the results ... it's just faaaaar cheaper than this other one that I can't remember the name of.

(I usually use Dermalogica but felt like a change).

A friend is a professional make-up artist (has worked on major TV and film sets). In her kit are the brands "elf and nyx," both of which are super affordable! She also has the Maybelline mascara in the green and pink tube, and L'oreal hairspray in the gold tin (which she applies to cotton buds to keep eyebrows in place) - those two are some of the most popular products of all time.

On sets, she uses whatever beauty company the production has partnered with, and gets oodles of freebies (as you can imagine), but if she's actually buying stuff herself, she just sticks to those I've mentioned above.

I love Night Flower, their dupe for Tom Ford's Black Orchid.

It smells identical to Nivea too. I tried some cream de mer at the airport a few years ago and my first thought was "that's Nivea. I'm not paying that!! 🤣

I got a lild perfume called Femelle and it is a copy for Lancôme La Vie Est Belle! It definitely doesn’t last as long but I’m using it for in my hand bag to spray throughout the day/night

I bought Vogue on Amazon for about £6 and it arrived today - I put a couple of sprays on about six hours ago and it is still going strong! It's amazing!

I also bought this and it's so nice :D but I agree it isn't that long lasting

Have you ever tried Astral? It is still a very good moisturiser but not as heavy and greasy as Nivea.

There was an article on This Morning back in Richard and Judy days where the expert said the same about Nivea/CDLM. Same ingredients largely.

Maybe it's like Peckham Spring and the creme de lar mer factory is actually just re-packing Nivea cream?

Yes Lidl have some great dupes but they really don't last do they? I have the Lidl "Essence Cotton Blue" and it is exactly like D&G Light Blue. I always have a spritz before the school run and I also spray it on scarves, etc as it seems to last longer on them.
