I love yasmeen, and it’s been so tough to watch at times (brilliant acting) just hope it goes back to that storyline soon as everything else that’s going on is boring!

The black family (I’m mixed race) but I feel like they just make black people look daft. The older son just reminds me of Goofy and talks like Daffy Duck. The younger, gay son, he’s just very bland. Never seen him play football once either. Made more of a racket of him playing with balls, let alone actually kicking one! The mum just moans and that blush they shove on her is too much. She doesn’t need bright red blush on! My aunt who has very dark skin wears it too and it’s awful! And as for the dosy dad, good on him for standing up to racists. That’s about it.
Carla is stale now. Can’t decide if they want her to be an alcoholic or a druggy. She’s in and out the show. Wish her and Barlow would sod off by this point.

Totally agree. I love Tyrone's gran even though the actress is allegedly a bloody horror in real life. Maybe that has helped form her Corrie persona and she's really like gran.

More Geoff and Yasmeen needed, definitely. I so so want Tim's mum to do a Perry Mason moment in the court at some point and tell everyone what a total bleep he was during their marriage and that he threatened her to stay away from Tim all these years.
I don't think it's been forgotten about, they always do this with big story lines and give them a break for a few weeks.
We are really far behind and only getting 3 eps a week compared to 6 so it does feel like stories are going on forever.

I love old Corrie I'm watching the 1979 year on YouTube it's amazing incredible years the 70 s for Corrie.
It has more class and heart and my grit to it than EastEnders which has been culturally dead for decades .
I also think the older ones were better because there was more of a older cast then young ones. Now its all young ones.
