Either way I think she's delusional enough to think she could unwind all the SS action/undo an adoption if she could only persuade the SS that she was really right all along (instead of being a paranoid person in a relationship with a sex offender, and who doesn't have a clue about parenting).

I’m struggling , is she deluded and living in an alternate universe ? calculated, conniving and an out and out liar, in a relationship were there is violence and coercive control but still maintains they were happy and in a loving relationship , despite being on trial for manslaughter ?

They may well have been permanently removed but in the crazy world of Constance that doesn't mean she can't get them back.

She must be wondering what on earth went so wrong.I'm sure you don't empathise with what she has done though? Remember that 4 children have been previously removed so there is history. Her only hope for leniency is a mental health issue.
