I’ve not been able to survive all his stories today as there’s just too bloody many!
I did laugh at him proclaiming you must be so careful who you take advice from. Then he’s recommending some guy off Instagram he’s followed for a few weeks for the best advice?! Tit.
I like Tropic products and as they’re natural I don’t think the cleanser has a shelf life of over 2 years. Think it’s a year max. Maybe the reason his face is a state is that he uses a whole heap of expired stuff. 🤦‍♂️
I think he’ll use expired stuff! He had a face mask out saying he uses it once a month so I think that’d go bad before it was finished.

I also think he must gifted some items! All that expensive skin care and he uses a £1.25 wilko body butter? I’m not a snob or a person with lots of money but I do invest in good skincare and body care! You can buy dove for less than a fiver! I’m sure that’d be better for his dry wee lassie body than wilko soufflé

And your hair is awful and could give Worzel Gummidge a run for his money but there you are Mario....it’s all about compromise

If I can afford the Tropic products I do try to buy them as I notice a difference in my skin when using them. Any cheaper but good products for combination, red, spot prone skin welcome!

Of course!

the most effective for eczema is a low % salicylic acid based product. Although it is predominantly for oily/blemish, it’s also effective for sensitive skins (acne/oily skins can be really sensitive believe it or not).
It will help to reduce the build up of layers of skin which overproduce when you have eczema.

I’ve put a pic of a product below. It’s not expensive but has enough product in to see if you’re skin can tolerate it. Try once a week as a thin mask and follow the timing instructions.
If you can tolerate after a couple of weeks then you could add a salicylic acid toner in as a daily part of your skincare.

if your skin is very dry, then anything with hyaularonic acid (like a serum) will help hugely as it’s the only chemical molecule which can hold up to 1000x it’s weight in water without collapsing.

I hope this helps and sorry for the hijack.
Thanks very much!

Why would anyone’s face need a double cleanse in the morning? Ewwwwww
I imagine it's his bad diet, seeping through his skin. Seems he scrubs away, thinking that's a good thing. I'm being tactful, if Mrs Hinch said she used oven pride on her skin he would too.

I’ve not read anything on this thread for a bit. My head has been twatted with three kids at home on lockdown so I’ve been surviving with a gin habit.
Few things I want to clear up.
He’s got exzeeeeeeeema

Elemis is known for being heavy and very perfumed. Even the sensitive cleanser stings some clients (I worked at a spa with Elemis for years).

tropic- not strong enough to strip all make up. You need a specific (pre cleanse) type cleanser for that. Before you use your regular cleanser.

glycolic acid is what is used in chemical peels. 7% is not high, the products are too low in price to warrant putting high amounts in (I like the ordinary though so I’m not slagging it).
trust me; if he has eczema as bad as he says, his skin would not like any type of glycolic acid. Lactic acid is more suitable to his type of skin.

lastly; because I can’t be arsed going over the whole range. if he had eczema that bad then there is no way his skin would tolerate that amount of product, no matter if you’re not doing them all every day. Severe eczema require dermatology intervention with specialist creams, not his clotty mate who sell body shop from her bleeping “live, laugh, love” back bedroom.

how do I know these things i hear you cry?

well unlike his divvy mate who he tagged earlier as a “skincare expert” (young lad who has read a lot of reviews.

I am a Harley street trained skin care specialist with 20+ years experience! So put that in your pipe and smoke it Margaret!

sorry for the rant but I deal with bad skin from bad recommendations day after day and in a time like this when people are struggling for money I think it’s really irresponsible.

PS - change or wash that bleeping dressing gown please, I bet it smells like cheese and onion pasty’s
You will regret saying you are a skin expert. Can you recommend a good face wash and daily moisturiser for a guy with oily skin (shiny by lunchtime 😂😂😂) Did anyone else have the vision of Marion rubbing his body with the body butter?

Only on Wednesdays and Sundays, any more than that makes him oily

Hi. I like the super greens serum by tropic. Feels so nice, but it does smell a bit fresh😯

But Supedrug’s Simply Pure Hydrating Serum it reeally, really good. Lots of people rate it highly and is on offer atm and is cheap. Another good one is Nivea face cream 24hr moisture day cream

Thank you! Are there any alternative cleansers, toners you would recommend? Will check out the Superdrug serum.

I like the Supergreens serum but it does smell! If I’m using it I just use it at night.

Well spank my ass and call me Derek, Mazda's bought FRUIT! Not the bespoke boujie high end brand Wilko's body range either, but the edible multicoloured stuff! Strange times indeed 👀

Hello. New member. I’ve been reading your threads for a while now. I’ve never read anything so amusing. I watch his stories (I do NOT follow him) then hop over hear to read what you’ve written 😂
However I must get this off my chest.
It’s reiterate not irriterate
Once not once-t
There’s another but I can’t bring myself to think what it it but it winds me up 😖
I’m from Scotland and I despise his accent.
