His final scene with Ken Barlow is one of my all time favourites Bill Roache said that he felt that it was very rushed and hurried and not as fitting a send off as Johnny Briggs should have had. I actually thought it was really poignant though.

It’s like when you were forced to wear school uniform but fought against it just because.
I used to wear my hated school hat like that because if I had to wear it, I would do it my way.
Liz thinks she’s still a teenager.

It's strange seeing some of these houses and flats with completely different layouts to what they are now, like Ashley/Claires house which is now Tim & Sallys with the stairs in a different place.
I assume Danny's flat is above the kebab shop, is that now where Daniel lives? Is this where Aidan lived?
I know it isn't real life but I keep thinking in real life that it would cost a fortune to change where the windows/stairs etc are completely. I need a life

Yes I think Danny is above kebab shop where Kirk lives now. Daniel lives above the builders yard.

I'm near sure the factory and the garage were further away from Gails house in the older episodes compared to now where they are basically attached I get on like these are real people and real houses lol

It has always struck me, regarding Ken and Deirdre's living room, how uncomfortable their furniture is!
They are either sitting on hardback wooden chairs or on the tiny sofa, Vera and Jack are the same.

And if you go to the toilets in the Rovers you are peeing in Ken and Deirdre’s kitchen.
The whole set up at the back of the Rovers doesn’t work, no idea how you get to it without going through the bar.

Why would customers need to go to back of the Rovers? The toilets are in the main bar area and there isn’t anything that they need access to in the back of the bar unless they get invited personally by one of the staff to speak to them in which case they’ll walk through the bar

Oh I get you now, so you’re talking about modern day Corrie rather than Classic Corrie as the smoking ban hasn’t come in yet.

In modern Corrie they seem to walk through an area that is at the side of the bar, just past where the toilets are which will take them to the smoking area in the back yard
