I think that's why I find her spending repulsive and I only watch her videos occasionally because I can't quite fathom how she manages that lifestyle. It's a conundrum to me. Buying excessive amounts of the same things from high-end brands. It's just not thought through - it's all about the need to get the next lux fix.
It's a channel for her to show off she's married wealth and is involved with a a re-sale website where she probably isn't paid much but gets her greedy hands on the latest "must-haves". She's oblivious to her audience and their budgets.
Someone seriously needs to talk to her about her presentation skills on camera as well, she can't keep on point for more than one sentence.

See, my issue is that sure, she may be asthmatic, but she’s not a frontline worker, she’s in a financial and employment position where she doesn’t have to worry about leaving the house or potentially being exposed to COVID-19. So really, just because she can get the vaccine now, doesn’t mean she should at this time. The priority needs to be for frontline workers and medical professionals. She used her privileged position to get access to a vaccine that people who are exposed to it on a daily basis STILL haven’t received.

I don’t like Claire but have to disagree. I know people in the same position as her with similar conditions or who are on immunosuppressive drugs and they’ve been contacted by their GP for the vaccine, people in their 30s and 40s. You can’t use your position, that isn’t a thing, and if you turn down the offer for the vaccine it won’t go to a front line worker, just the next person on the list

Years ago Claire or Julien mentioned Julien’s father coming from meager means and becoming v wealthy. The property she constantly humble brags about (flat in London, flat in Paris, family home in Nice, etc.) is all from his family. Their home in Essex? Also from his family. It’s obvs Julien comes Julien isn’t even working outside of his assistant role w Claire and her projects. People who flaunt things like Hermes or family homes tend to have v little themselves. All show, no go. Claire spends on Hermes because she can. Those other hauls are zero expense for her, everything is gifted. If you didn’t have a mortgage and 99% of your shopping was free due to gifted items, you’d have the $ to buy Hermes each month as well.

They’re all show and no go. The homes belong to Julien’s family. Renovations come from Claire and Julien, which is why they are incredibly cheap w it and their home looks so tacky. A moveable island in your dressing room? No thank you. Most of Claire’s lux hauls are PR which frees up $ for her Hermes addiction. Claire works, Julien does not. How do we think his lux travel agency has been doing since March 2020? It’s all smoke and mirrors.

So so bad and also the off white (cream) of the cupboard doors looks wrong in my opinion, you need crisp white with that marble. Also i would never have a power socket cut into the stone, you can have them in your cupboards or under the worktop hidden! So much for her years of research!

I sped through her brand launch video because her inability to string a coherent sentence together just grates on me. She claims she’s all luxe and bullshit, but she’s in this for the quick buck from her devoted (and delusional) followers. I work in the industry so just off of what I know and what she’s said: I doubt her stuff will be made in Europe because of Brexit and I’d be surprised if it’s UK-made unless she struck up a sweet deal because everyone’s been affected by Covid. Makes me think she’s sourcing out of Asia/China since those factories were only closed until late March/April. She’s obviously NOT a designer because every designer worth their salt knows that techpacks and design specs HAVE TO include measurements of every specific detail. The fact she was so surprised that the first sample came back ugly is a dead giveaway. She claims synthetic fibers indicate poor quality, but that’s a myth. There are some pretty great quality man made fibers out there that closely mimic high quality natural fibers (ie cupro vs silk) or lend to the durability of the garment, extending it’s life. She claims she’s got the best manufacturers because she saw labels from other brands. Hate to break it to you, but the majority of factories cater to different brands, both high street and luxury because the big orders offset the smaller, bespoke orders (presumably like Claire’s). She’s delusional to think you can’t search out factories brands are using. Transparency is a HUGE deal in fashion right now so a lot of brands are either already sharing their finished goods factory lists or will be required to pending legislation in the EU. Finished goods factories are pretty easy to find; especially if you’re a designer, you know where to go to get the best prices and workmanship. No talk of inclusivity or sustainability, which as a new brand in 2021 is just missing the mark completely. She also gave no indication of price point. Not a great start since pandemic job loss probably affected a lot of her followers and they might need to save up for whatever crap she’s flogging.

You can buy multiple Hermes in a year and spend tens of thousands on fashion per month but you don’t want to actually spend money on professional painters / can’t get organised re painters for your dream kitchen that you’ve been planning for years ?? Oh dear, I have been following her a while, and kinda understands what kind of person she is, I find it entertaining to see how rude and full of herself she is that's why I follow. Style-wise wasn't great at all either, none of the items she buys would 'influence' me.

Anyway, the other day I saw her stories saying something like 'People who click bait should get a bag of oranges for X'mas, not the Hermes kind of oranges' something like that, and the next slide, was a screenshot of 4 pairs of Manolo on Luisaviaroma, and on top she put in the text '50% off Manolo's for 30 mins only, swipe up'. Well if you guys have been on Luisaviaroma before, you will know they run random flash discounts, but it's not applicable in many of the popular styles (which the put a star next to the item, indicating the code won't be valid). I swiped up her story, and she linked a pair of shoes that is not in the screenshot. The discount code is not applicable to the 4 pairs of Manolo in her screenshot. So I messaged her, (not sure why instagram is not showing my initial message but basically I said I'd call her swipe up a click bait because the code is not applicable to what is shown on the screenshot. I suggested her to either show a screenshot of things which are actually applicable, or if you really ant to share the Manolo styles, share a site with a better discount (e.g. Farfetch sells them much cheaper)) and attached our conversation afterwards.

It’s crazy how much money she spends though? If his family are giving her the money, how much are they giving her? The amount she drops on clothes is ridiculous. I mean today she went to that Hermes sample sale and didn’t even seem to really want any of the stuff she bought. Then you take into consideration the extension and all the expensive and ugly furniture she’s bought to fill it. It’s not like she seems to even rent out that London flat of hers. Claire doesn’t buy anything BUT Hermes and Chanel, and only if it comes from the boutique. Her clothing hauls are all PR, a number of their ugly furniture and home decor pieces are gifted or heavily discounted.

Imagine if you had no mortgage (or rent), and all you had to cover are your daily expenses and bills. Imagine if you didn’t have to think about your children’s school tuition or retirement savings because your family will pay the tuition and your inheritance will cover your retirement. That’s Claire, because of the $ coming from her husband’s family.

In reality, she’s married a buffoon who was clearly coddled. Now that’s her job. Ick. I actually think Claire works hard, angling any way she can to achieve the life she’s longed for (read: ability to buy and buy and buy physical things) with the hope she will shed the poor upbringing. It’s obvious she’s trying to prove something, but to who? Regardless of what she will be able to buy or the home/s she lives in, it will always be obvious from the way she looks, speaks, acts, etc. that she is that little girl from subsidized housing in Essex. It’s all quite sad really. What a shell of a life.

I’ll bet that she’ll share name, allude to how hard the delivery was due to her ‘complication’, not give his weight, and say that she wants to keep some things private. That way she comes across as keeping baby‘s privacy (smart public maternal move), but in reality, the baby is a solid 7 lber, if that, and she is so competitive that she must maintain that the sympathy is on her as she did give birth during hard times, luckily she was allowed to bring in her husband, and whoa is me. She’s all over her insta with polls, now releasing a video. She either really needs to stay relevant or they need the money. Oh, and she will never tell her complication, ahem breach, because it make people wonder about the elusive Claire.

I think I’ve said before so apologize if this is a repeat. She’s honestly nuts. Have you ever seen someone type in a rage, like pure rage? You literally have to sound out what is written. And this is on top of a woman who can barely spell her own name and has no clue that whose and who’s are actually different words. So my Claire story is pretty innocuous. I honestly was being nice and thought she was. I was so speechless. This is when she was blathering on about how she was going to be alone in her private suite giving birth -ALONE!! I made a huge mistake - I sent her a private note saying that I had an emergency birth, my husband, wasn’t there for anything until a hot slide in at last second during cesarean. I said women are strong, you will be too, all that matters is safety of baby. Yep that’s IT. WTF? I woke up to a 4 scroller that I had to sound out - I’m mentally unsound, how dare I tell a pregnant woman a horror story when she is giving birth during a PANDEMIC (kinda like the London Blitz I’m assuming in her mind). She will be ALONE and here I am telling her a horror story. Again what is WRONG with me? Um, again WTF? Then, I did the worst thing you can do when a narcissist is having a narcissistic insult - I engaged and tried to explain myself. She went apeshit. Literally went nuts. I ended up blocking HER just to get her to shut up. And the final message sent to me was again what a dumbass I am and how mentally unstable I am ...”oh I’m so glad you’ve read this because now I can block you”. Maturity a it’s best. I’m a faster blocker though. Bottom line, white trash married money, and hasn‘t figured out yet how to behave properly. She literally cannot for the life of her figure out how the Lids and other influencers are bigger and better. Well, they dropped her like a hot potato-even Emma Hill dropped her years ago.
