yesterday morning my eldest brother drank bleach he’s been in the hospital since and has burnt all down from his lips to his stomach, he’s being kept in for a few days so they can keep an eye on his throat. He’s been in a bad place lately really depressed and miserable, and we’ve found out it’s because he’s been doing Cocaine constantly, he used to have a really bad drug problem for years but he’s been well for the last few years since he’s had my niece. It’s so horrible at the moment, my other brother blames himself because he knew about the drugs and didn’t tell anyone so he feels like shit. My sister in law is in absolute bits luckily she found him when she did otherwise who knows what could’ve happened I just feel sad for everyone it’s so horrible

Morning all.

The news out of Texas this morning has made me cry. School should be a place of safety for our children. It is just awful.

Not so much going on here. I have psychologist and physio today. I am wiped out after yesterday. I am working so hard in physio but it is so exhausting.

Hope everyone else is OK.

I don’t read or watch the news! I didn’t know what had happened until I just read here. How sad.

I can’t believe it’s only Wednesday. This week feels so long. Little peaches has Friday off for the jubilee day as the actual day falls in half term. As if these kids don’t have enough time off bloody school.

I’m having a shit week but I can’t even be bothered to rant about it anymore. I’m meeting a friend after work for coffee so that’ll be nice.

@fudgebox sorry to read about your brother that’s awful. Hope you’re okay

Going through a bit of a rough time with my family at the moment, it's all really sad and I don't quite know what to say or do to make anybody feel any better. Today is my last day at work for 12 days though so I'm looking forward to not having work to worry about and hopefully I'll be able to relax a bit.

Hey gang. Exciting day for me. I'm going to the women's refuge today for a 'taster shift' to help me try and make a decision
Yes... I am STILL between 2 jobs. Enviable position to be in but its SO stressful. I left work an hour early yesterday as i had the headache from hell. And today i still have the headache but it's brought along its friends... Sore throat and snotty nose

The news in Texas is awful. I know guns are a very big deal in America and its law that theyre allowed to have them and i dont want to get on to a debate about them but its scary to think how easy accessible they are to the wrong people. Those poor kids

I’m so sad for the world. I hugged mini so tight this morning he was outraged by it!
All you can keep doing is take it day by day really to avoid the overwhelm but the past few years have been so much it’s hard.
