What are people’s thoughts on Chevon?

Personally I found her to be a relatable momgrammer. I disagree with showing children on social media but they don’t seem to be 100% of her content, I also appreciate the fact she’s getting herself a career and isn’t planning on living off freebies.

but today she’s posting about not voting and sharing posts saying it’s pointless because “if they wanted your vote to count they wouldn’t give you one” etc. what a very dangerous thing to post when you’ve got influence that exceeds over 30,000 people. That and yesterday’s stories “praying for the people” who tried to gain access to her account is wild enough for me to make a thread actually.

But the fact that they can access her account to the authorisation point makes me question if she’s used third party websites to get some followers anyway or if her password is actually just that weak

Dunno. Just felt like the mask is slipping because I’ve found these last two days she’s coming off some type of way

Same thought about the voting stories today. Reeks of privilege and ignorance. And this woman is training to be a teacher!

I’m really curious about the mother in law situation though, we’ve obviously established she’s a Billy Bullshit. Maybe the MIL caught on? Took a disliking based on her bad attitude?

I thought the exact same thing her reel shows a nice warm morning (evening?) and this morning it’s like a frosty blizzard Did you have a look? Theres no way her 40 viewers were rushing out this morning to find it so I hope you did find it if she didn’t take it for herself (which I doubt. Maybe the heating cutting out was karma for liiiiieesss)

I got into conversation with a friend yesterday who works in marketing about people who buy followers, he basically said, if an account has THAT many bought followers these agencies would rather be directly contacted via complaints and also you should report the account buying the followers. He said it’s because of people who do this that businesses lose out on £thousands and can be a sackable offence for the marketing leader because they gave product away/paid for content that had 0 reach and made 0 sales if they worked with enough people committing the fraud. How selfish do you have to be to not consider that? Ungodly I’d say.

Frankly I think they should do their better research especially companies like Tesla, and Chevon isn’t the only person I know that’s bought followers and gets ads with massive companies. I could reel at least 10 influfraud (LOVE that ) accounts off the top of my head. But I think I’m definitely going to start reporting the accounts and going directly to the PR teams who work with them from now on, I know in other threads I read there’s people that contact the companies directly to tell them that because they worked with xyz influencer they’ll no longer buy from them. Influencer marketing is dying anyway because of this

She’s got no friends. If she makes it look like she didn’t want anyone there then it’s not as sad when her wedding looks tiny. Plus they’re skint like you said.

kids are the life of the party. She’ll regret that choice. My sister spent around 30k on her wedding but they saved for 8 years and already had a mortgage. The wedding was incredible, there was loads of kids. They added to the day, my brother in law is the type to know everyone and their dog so there was loads of people anyway but it was the kids that made the reception imo. First to get on the dance floor, last to leave. It’s about what they can afford, and what they can afford is to go up the council office on a random Wednesday and sign the paperwork but she’s making it look like a choice to have a shoebox wedding.
