I just watched their blog. The first day when they brought the dog home it is clearly distressed. They are treating that poor thing like a toy rather than living being. Complaining about the dog peeing in the house, I don't see them installing a doggy door, so do they expect the dog to hold it all day?

Also the nursery looks way more bleak than I expected.
and she plans to put her mom AND the baby in the cupboard under the stairs?? She has all the time in the world for her 2 closets and office, but the nursery is bare bones. 😱They need black-out curtains for better sleep.

I refuse to give Amie views- are there screenshots available of this nursery?

It is just a small gray room with just a white glider chair and an elephant rocking toy. Compare it to the Pinterest pink and gold office and closet, it looks extra sad.

Anyone else feel sorry for Amie, she seems so far gone. She seems like she used to be a normal, intelligent and relatively ambitious woman. Now, she seems to only get true happiness from buying bags. She gets so excited about bags but that excitement doesn’t seem to carry on to having a baby and getting a dog. I know her channel
Is a luxury channel but it’s just so sad that she thinks it’s okay to give her baby a tiny sad looking room whilst she sprawls all her purchases across two big ones.

I’d feel sorry for her if she weren’t so smug. She appears pleased with herself and doesn’t seem to show any awareness of how shallow and selfish she’s become. I mean she thinks its ok to announce to her audience that she expects her mum to move in and help with the baby so she doesn’t need to take maternity leave from her home shopping channel 😬😬. A sane person would hear how selfish that sounds- even celebrities and actresses take maternity leave.

A baby should have brought her down to earth but as pointed out here, she’s still buying and dressing as if that baby doesn’t exist and has given him/her a leftover storage space for a room rather than sacrificing one of her “closet rooms” for a decent sized nursery, especially since she admits herself periodically that she is in constant need of “clearing out” unwanted bags/clothes.

I was in a “happily childless” marriage for 10 yrs and took pride in maintaining a well groomed/professional appearance but when i found out i was pregnant, buying clothes took a back seat to meticulously researching best value must-have baby items (because who wants to be stuck with useless baby junk) as well as starting a savings and investment fund for the baby- that’s how a normal first time parent-to-be’s buying patterns should look like, even if you’re not necessarily “baby crazy”.

The thing that annoys me is that everything is so poorly thought out, but really her selfish actions just disgust me. Someone pointed out earlier, that she could've feasibly put all her things into one room if she put in an island. Also if she really want that much space, I would have taken the attic as her own filming/walk-in closet/office as it is big enough for all those things, and used one of the larger bedrooms as their master bedroom.

I also remember they said they want more than one child, are they going to get a 10-bedroom house for the second child? 1 child per 5 bedrooms?

This is why if you have a YouTube/Social Media career, you cannot base it around consumption. Social media has really rewired our lives and the majority use it to seek social validation. Some do it via experiences - travel, going out, activities, ect some do it through skills - art, makeup, sports, ect and the worst are the shopping ones - although those are the most widespread. Set environmental damage aside due to generating unnecessary waste from unrestricted consumption, additionally is your sense of your whole self is only measured by money.

We live in a society where our extrinsic values are tied to money, we go to school and learn skills so we pursue jobs that pay us for our work. But that is not all we are, and I acknowledge that work and our ability to earn money are a huge part of who we are, but that shouldn't be it. Amie and many of the luxury YouTubers seem to me to have their entire identity tied to bags or luxury products. No matter how much Chanel bags cost or will cost, my personhood is not measured by my ability to buy things.

The poor child will grow up in that tiny bedroom while her mother has multiple rooms for her clothes and bags. The kid would not be allowed to make a mess too in that beige house and be "trained".

Also another thing I noticed, their house seems to be on a major road. How are you going to walk that dog? And she complains about a dog doing the zoomies, it is what a dog do, my cat does that as well.

Also buying useless Marc Jacob bags, like why?

Also buying useless ceramic pumpkins, clothes that we will never see featured again, and fall candles, but the nursery is currently more sparse than Harry’s cupboard under the stairs.

Who on Earth would bother buying such tit? Amie, maybe you should focus on giving up one of your closet rooms for your kid’s nursery instead of treating them like a second class citizen and relegating them to live in a crappy shoe box. A self-serving ass such as yourself doesn’t deserve to be a mom. And I don’t think you want to be a mom either and are probably doing it in order to rake in as much profits from the poor kid. Hell, you can’t even admit that you got some help on the fertility front. With many new parents, you can feel the love they already have for their unborn child through their words, postings etc. Whereas for you, it’s just factual updates eg entering second trimester, doing up room, buying tit for the kid. It’s so clear you feel NOTHING for the child. Shame on you if you really are having him/her for the sake of chasing product placements.

I also give a tit about the dog. I am a pet fosterer and I see how people just abandon their pets, even puppies and kittens en masse because they just want to take photos of themselves with something cute without considering the work that goes into caring for a living thing.

They are not socialising Yoshi properly, he should be in puppy classes to be with other dogs. She has gripes about normal dog behaviours such as zoomies - they do that because Yoshi is not getting enough exercise, and peeing/marking their territories is normal for dogs, particularly male dogs. Of course, those are frustrating things every dog owner has to deal with but she started complaining about that about 2 days in when it takes months to train a dog. Samoyeds are a smart breed so they can pick up tricks, but behaviour training takes time and consistency, and they are not doing that.

I just have an awful premonition that Yoshi will be abandoned around the 6 months mark, when he starts to get much bigger and less "cute", also that's when they'll have a child as well. I am not a psychic nor do I believe anyone can actually see into the future, but I've been more or less correct about her.

It has been established around her that bother her mother and Dan would be the ones to actually take care of Yoshi and their child. Amie will only be there for pictures.
