I actually really rate that she's releasing the same album multiple times but every song is actually almost totally different on each, despite being remixes, which I usually don't like. It's quite impressive what she's done with them all, the original versions were great anyway

It's a 2/4 for the singles so far, but that maybe more down to me and listening to too much AG.

But agree with the praise for wuthering heights, dying for you will probably be in my top listened to for the year.

Definitely been a brat year for me 😂 I’ve been listening to Sucker again recently, reminds me of my first year of starting uni!

Bless, she killed it and the nerves were rarely showing. Glad it was a lot better than that trail.

New album tomorrow! Been 50/50 for me on the singles so I'm not sure it's going to be a constant play like BRAT or the Wuthering Heights album (which I agree, @CrackingOwlSanctuary is incredible! I listened to Chains of Love ~350 times a month in both November and December 🥴) but I am intrigued and excited

Wonder what Taylor will release tomorrow to block Charli

Couldn't find a thread about her so thought I'd start one

I'm not much of a pop girly so I've not actively sought her music out before this year but I really really like Brat, both as a comprehensive album and the singles as she's released them

I think people assume she's just another paid-for pop frontwoman but she's an amazing writer and producer. As a 1975 fan (I know they're divisive) I was very impressed by the easter egg that is Talk Talk, she wrote it about her fiance George (drummer of The 1975) and on first listen I was convinced he'd produced it because it sounds so like them (particularly in their current era) but he's not credited so I think it's just a cute little nod to him and his music

Thoughts? If anyone has serious goss we can get the thread moved but I like her

That was definitely the performance of the night at the Grammys

I'm surprised at the backlash of the H&M deal. People pushed on Charli that brat summer was all about thrift shops and anti capitalism but Charli has never been about that - she advertised for years the S Korean Samsung phones despite only ever being seen with apple stuff unless it was a paid for AD

Brat is great and she's a really talented producer, but people need to separate the art from the person. She was always going to "sell out" to the highest bidder because that's what she's always done. I'm not expecting my popstars to also be spiritual leaders. Paid millions to put your name on polyester fast fashion is so brat.

Ss26 and camera for me. You?

I like the album on first listen, will need to give it a few more spins to decide if it's an experimental mess or a masterpiece or just good. It's the pivot everyone expected. Doesn't feel very cohesive and I'm not in a rush to replay.
Interesting my two were wink wink and ss26!

I’ve listened once not had time to go again but I liked it more than I thought I would on first listen. Rock Music being right at the start gives People being first in Notes by the 1975

I'm glad they're all totally different, avoids making the original redundant like she did with guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if another totally new brat remix comes out in a few months.

Although I was kinda hoping for a new video.

What are your two of the four? I’m wondering if they’re the same as mine

not listened to the album yet, anyone able to give an early review?

Not many names left on the remix album to reveal. I'm hoping the big ones are Taylor swift on sympathy is a knife and lily Allen on I think about it all the time.

But with Taylor probably still desperate for Matty to text her I'm not sure where her and Charli stand.
