I hope this is the right place to post about Celine, but if not please move.

I have always enjoyed her music, and saw her performing live at Caesars Palace in Vegas a few years ago where she was amazing. She is devoted to her fans and loves making people happy with her music.

I have just finished watching her documentary I Am | Celine Dion, which discusses her illness, Stiff Persons Syndrome that affects 1 in 1 million people. She was very open about how it has changed her life, and there were lots of clips of her performances through the years.

She also went into a warehouse where she keeps all her outfits and shoes. I have never seen so many shoes. 😱

Whilst I found it upsetting at times, I admire her courage and determination to get back on stage one day.

I liked Celine when I was younger. I saw her with my mum on her Falling Into You tour in the 90s; she gave that show 200%. I think since Renee died, she has become a shadow of herself. I hope she is okay with her illness. I'm too scared to watch the documentary, as I might find it upsetting.

I loved the documentary. I think she seems quite down to earth considering she lives a life we could only dream of but I loved seeing the big shoe warehouse.

I've not watched the documentary yet but I like Celine and feel very empathic toward her. She's been through a lot even before revealing the stiff person syndrome diagnosis. She has a lot of strength to still face each day as best she can.

I have nothing but positive thoughts for Celine. She is an all-timer of a talent and seems like a good person. She's been through a lot. I hope she takes comfort in her fans, her family, and her children.

Always liked Celine, despite her amazing voice she always seemed to retain a slight kooky nature that made her seem so much more down to earth. I think we used to have my mum play ghe first mainstream album in the car when we were little all the time. I loved the drama of Its All Coming Back To Me.

I haven't seen it yet, I do think she suffered greatly after Rene died and has never quite recovered from her loss.
I don't like many of her songs but I do find her quite likeable as a person. Seems very hard working, dignified and not full of herself

I'm glad a thread has been started. What a stunningly brave, inspirational woman. I hate how life can be so cruel at times.
It was awful watching her suffer but dam, she turns it around, I love that kind of strength.
I wish her nothing but love.
Also, I never realised what a fashionista she is ❤❤❤

I'm only just bringing myself to watching her documentary and I'm sat with tears down my face 😭 I grew up listening to her through my mum. What a brave lady to show the world what she's going through. She seems so grounded and placid, her children are beautiful and a credit to her. She's such a sentimental woman and that warehouse with all her kids drawings and outfits had me 🥹🥹

Did anyone see Celine singing in French at the close of the Olympics. She was fabulous. What a great comeback for her, in front of the world, half way up the Eiffel Tower 🗼. She looked great too, and was clearly overwhelmed. Well done Celine.

She was miming, though in all fairness, everyone does on these kind of major events (Gaga did too). Certainly didn't sound like a recently recorded vocal, though.
