Just been catching up with big bro's antics. Did he get Crabbie to help write it? The Stage review could almost be about her house.

Guardian review is a bit close to home too

Perhaps Tom can go on a Beggars' Call workshop to learn how to write better musicals?

Wonder if whoever hired him to do Paddington might now be thinking he may need some help.

But but but he pitched a musical to Steven Spielberg!

Who still does top nine photos on Instagram? Get with the times grandma
I feel personally attacked, I am 33 and had to ask my 20 year old niece for help on how to do something on Instagram, ended up giving up in frustration

I'm not fan of Tom's, but some reviews that criticise the show do praise his songs. So maybe Paddington won't be so bad
---

Oh look, barely a peak of her husband
I read the review that was posted (and a few more!) You’re right, the criticism wasn’t with Toms songs, it was the adaptation, length of time for the puppets to be part of the story, the staging and sound quality.
Obviously, it’s his name behind it, so he’d have had some input into it, I assume?
On her recent live, Carrie said the name of the musical she spent 3 years writing (I assume Tom was finding her lifestyle?) It was something like “Coming to England” and she said “it was really good, but not sure it will ever be performed. It would need a lot of rewriting” Obviously not word for word as my memory isn’t that good! No tit. I musical you started when you were 16, that didn’t get picked up back then, despite being shown to Steven Speilberg, isn’t going to get picked up now?!
Anyone know the actual name??

If this was the name, what do you guys think the play is about, a flight home from Disney?

Saw "Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812" today at the Donmar

Featuring the true object of her love, Jamie Mustscarper ... who I must say was excellent.

Weird how she hasn't mentioned it simply to support him and his career, or mentioned going to see it just to have a lustful look. I mean he has his shirt unbuttoned for half his scenes. And it's the Donmar, most of the stalls can reach out and touch him, the actors are that close.

But then she so rarely does do any helpful promo of her friends and fellow actors.

(I recommend it by the way, if you're a fan of slightly quirky old-story but modern composer music, and great dancing. Technically sold out but you can get returns if you keep checking the current day and a few days ahead during box office opening hours when they're chucking returns back on sale).

I’ve looked and I can’t find the name. I’d forgotten this article…

She really refers to herself as someone who performs in a “park and bark” style. Yikes!
I read in a different piece, that Tom didn’t fly to New York to meet Steven Spielberg. That seems odd to me. I get he was in the band and had commitments, but I’m sure he could have videoed in again?
If I was being pitched an idea, something that I was putting my name and money into, and one of the creators wasn’t there, but a teenager was, I wouldn’t have committed either!
Imagine her pincer hands, barking at him, it’s no wonder it didn’t happen!

I saw the matinee today and I’m pretty sure Joel was in the audience. He wasn’t with Carrie though.

I dont know when this was from, but a random clip of her singing “I can do without you” came on my fyp.
Her accent is bad, especially her speaking voice. Her expressions are very amateur. She does the same few expressions and stances throughout. Her expressions when reacting to him singing are terrible.
I know it isn’t the full “show”, but as a way to promote the show, bloody hell, it’s crap. Of course the super obsessed fans are saying how amazing she is- all 4 of them 🤣
These faces sum it up

It’s the epitome of smell the fart acting. I’m pretty sure she could put that episode of friends on instead of teaching her “acting through song” workshop!

Amazing how she truly has only three different facial expressions and all of them feature in her social media content AND her professional acting. Carrie for the love of god, I know you won’t ever take acting lessons, but at least consider changing it up for once. Looking smug or disgusted can’t be the extent of your acting talents :( x

Haven't seen the clip but that is the outfit she wore for her guest appearance at Vinny's show at Crazy Coqs the other night, and it's their stage backdrop hehind her.

edit: go to her tagged page and these two multi-clip posts in particular for the full carrie-karaoke horror, provided by the usual supermegastalkerfan (the one that went to every night of her tour, and clearly went to both shows at Crazy Coqs, and appears to be counting down the days until Carrielamity Jane, wish I had her money to go to so much is all I can say).

And bear in mind that people were charged money to see these two (Carrie & Vinny) "singing" from a music stand (haven't seen professional singers do that in years, even for a one nighter, they usually, y'know, rehearse and learn stuff).

That’s ridiculous. They advertised that show months ago. Surely they could’ve learnt a few songs in that time.
Like…that’s their JOB?

But…she’s a #workingparent now, what do you expect her to do? Put some effort into something she gets paid for?! Nah

to be honest have just watched some of the clips again and it looks like it's the Vinny guy (whose show it was billed as!) that hasn't bothered to learn the songs and who is managing to behave even more amateur than her. Some of her singing is dodgy (certainly the Calamity Jane stuff doesn't work) but the other songs she doesn't sound so bad.

Is it possible that in this Vinny guy she has found someone equally or even more amateurish and wannabe than her? Perhaps they will be a low rent cabaret double act for years to come?
