I don't particularly like Dr Natalia either. I get that most people's skin would be ok without 100 different serums and creams but not everyone. For example, I get hormonal acne which serums and creams don't help with but for some other types of acne and skin conditions the right combination of products can help, same with other skin conditions
I hate that she recommends Vaseline all the time and is basically saying this one product is good for everyone. I honestly couldn't think of anything worse than putting Vaseline on my face. The problem with a lot of new followers of CH is that they add in 10 new products all at once and then wonder why their skin is so terrible.
I personally like to double cleanse but get it isn't for everyone. I don't find it stripping but I use an oil based cleanser to remove my SPF and makeup and a cream based cleanser second because it feels nourishing.
I totally agree that a lot of people have too many products, I do too and am working on cutting down what I have and deciding which products I will continue to purchase in the future for my skin.
I think she was also over simplifying about the formulation of products, yes a lot of products have the same base ingredients but companies do tweak formulations. I think most people know you pay more for packaging and designer names and that this doesn't necessarily reflect that the products are better.
Most people know that influencers are making money when they sell these things although clearly a lot of the freaks think Caroline is doing them a favour with her kits. I completely understand why people buy the kits as they are a good discount but only if its products you want to try or already love.
