Oh wow just saw this. Yes I know her and agree with all you say more or less. it’s not all negative feelings from me, at least it wasn’t to start.
I discovered her last summer along with Sarah baska- both their vlogs from the Jana wedding were hilarious and entertaining, have to give it to them, probably the best thing that came out of that tit show.
I was like ‘who is this girl, she’s hilarious and real’ - unfortunately it quickly became more of a love hate thing. I’m not sure if it was that video in particular that gave her a huge bump in subscribers, leading to brand deals, leading to money and inevitable decline but it was around that time. Suddenly she’s buying Balenciaga bags and getting cosmetic surgery on the cheap (brand partnership) in LA.... people are always criticising influencers spending and saying they are about to go broke and I rarely agree but this girl is another matter. Her ‘merch’ is so lazy - one weird hoody is all she has of a brand. She could turn it around but she seems to be living like she’s Tana Mongeau, especially the last year. Probably not helped by that one very rich, exceedingly obnoxious friend of hers, Skye. She is such a brat, and revelling in it, she actually facisnates me. Her whole crowd all very ‘on’ like a cast of characters in an 80s movie. Mixed feelings.
Completely agree she was awful in Europe. I think that’s when my feelings started to change about her. She’d never been out of the USA and it showed. The whole group acted so crappy if things weren’t the way they are in the states (hate that so much), barely did anything, sleeping hungover most days, still had a snobby overall response to Paris and London (Paris and London ffs. She’s from suburban Massachusetts isn’t she? ) Even she seemed disappointed in herself she did say she wanted to go back to “Europe” and do it better...
The obnoxious noise of her crowd and their air bnb house parties is ... something. It makes me feel old for sure.
