Also, with this - it seems clear that she doesn't want to have sex with her husband anymore, with 'The Maintenance Shag' and now this. I'm sure it's a hard issue to face head on (I have never personally been in this situation), but if it's not fun to have sex with your partner anymore and sex is important to you, then you should consider that the relationship may no longer be desirable, or if (boring) sex isn't important enough to you to consider ending the relationship, then maybe stop writing about it in the present tense? I don't know, it's just that if a man was writing in the mainstream press about sex with his current, also public, partner being boring, then people would understandably feel sorry for her.
I haven't read the book so don't know if this is the tenor of what she writes.
