I can really see Matt Lucas in a fat suit, sat in bed clutching a saggy boob and spouting out utter rubbish to the camera as 'Insta Karen'
She’s vile!! I saw her in primark once with the kids and her mom? She was all “ohh Erin look at this!” Letting her stop and look at things, then Ethan tried to stop and look at something and she snapped at him to come on!She is just one of the fakest influencers I have seen, and I have actually seen her in real life.
A few years ago she came to my town to advertise the shopping centre. She fell over on a piece of food a toddler had just dropped on the floor of Boots and she literally had an argument with this lady how she should be telling her child off and that she gets paid to travel the world etc. She then stormed out of Boots with a member of staff following her apologising and asking how she could help and she just kept saying she was leaving and couldn’t wait to get out of this tit place. Then posted on social media that they had a great day blah blah blah.
I don’t believe have the stuff she says, everything is scripted.
She did that weird thing she has been doing all through lockdown where she tries to acknowledge every single person so that she doesn’t offend anyone but she just sounds incredibly insincere. It usually goes something like “good morning to *deep breath* people who are isolated at home, people who are working on the frontline, people who have to have their kids at home, people who have to send their kids to school, people who are working from home, people who have lost their job”. Unfortunately for her, that is SUPER inappropriate in the context she used it today when addressing her audience.. “some of you might black and some of you might be hurting for people that are different to us”. What on earth was she thinking??
It's the "to us", like her followers must, then, be exclusively white?? I'm sure POC follow her, so why is she perpetuating an "us and them" situation?? The whole point of what is going on right now is that it should be all of US actively against those people who think that the differences in our skin colour makes some people better than others. The point is to stand shoulder to shoulder with POC against racism. The only "us and them" that should exist is US (black, white, everyone) against THEM (racists).

If I were a person of colour following her, I would absolutely feel like an outsider in her community that the others feel sorry for. It’s was such a bizarre comment. I hope she learns that she doesn’t have to say something, just to say something.
Oh her bibbidibobbidibollocks account she is asking whether she needs another overpriced piece of clutter (a bag). She shows one that ‘Erin would love’ but then says ‘£75 isn’t appropriate for a 9 year old’. No, but a £200 games console is?
I just... she was a school teacher for years, apparently teaching about race?? surely SURELY she’s aware of the representation and concept of ‘other’ & ‘otherness’ and how the use of words like that completely feeds into that and the ‘us’ v ‘them‘

She's proven that anything BLM was purely a bandwagon for her to jump on and feel smug about her "contribution". The us and them tone of her post, actually writing out the words "you might be black" like it bleeping matters and follows it up with a "people who aren't like us". Well I for one am happy not to be a bleep so I'll gladly not be like you.
And to bang on about how multi-cultural Birmingham is! Open your eyes, having a diverse population means nothing if people are subjected to racist abuse and segregation. The same segregation you've just told 100,000 people that you support by making belittling comments. You may as well started it with "I'm not a racist, but...."
Then there's the posters for your at home protest. Why make a big deal about how Erin is putting it up in her bedroom? What's wrong with putting them up in the front window? Why are you hiding them away rather than putting them front and centre? Is it because you're worried what the neighbours might think? Or that you don't actually want to protest anything because you don't actually see the problem? Afterall, it's only impacting people who "aren't like you" isn't it?
How this woman continues to get brand deals is beyond me. Jokes about domestic violence, implies homosexuality makes you different, implied racism, kids on porn sites.... when will brands realise what they are aligning themselves with?

Reporting it to Insta won’t do anything, they don’t have enough staff for all the reports they get, the story will burn out in time. The only way to get change is to report comments to advertisers.
This is strange, I’ve just checked and she has 12 comments on, most are people saying thank you and her replying. I didn’t see the comments previously so not sure how many were on there but surely more than that? She comes across as a very cut and paste influencer, most of her posts which she has saved on her page are from other influencers. It’s like she posted things for the sake of it, not any heart or care behind? I don’t know just my thoughts.
And I also agree, I think it’s great her kids have done posters - but show them off! Put them in your front windows and show your neighbours what you stand for?
