Wanting friends who are exactly like you is unbelievably narrow minded. I'm childfree but I always find I get on well with parents (I realise that's a massive category lol but YKWIM) and love hearing about their kids have been up to and what their lives are like. I love hearing about what people get up to at their different jobs (and the work drama). Brogan just wants to hear her own empty thoughts echoed back at her. It's pathetic.
She’s truly hilarious, talking about wanting to make new friends who are the same age with the same job and she’s going to spend two months with seniors eating soft cakes. Please have mercy on us

She’s so sad. She talks about losing friendships but she’s only had two friends for a long time now. Saying you want to meet people who won’t know who you are?? I want to point out that filming random moments while on holiday does not constitute working through Christmas. She has no idea how ridiculous she sounds. Supposedly we will be spared that video this year.

Yes, I’d think it would be shite to only have friends whose lives are identical to your own. Granted almost all mine seem to work in healthcare or education, but some are married, some single, some with kids, some not. Hell, I still have two friends who were my original besties back when we were 5 years old. We all have busy lives and schedules and jobs and different interests but we try to get together once a month or so. Aunty CdnGirl is having all the kids (and their parents) over for a pizza party one Saturday before Xmas.

I call absolute bullshit on them doing that. Not a chance. They’re going to stay on the rust bucket no matter what happens to Bonnie. With a dog declining, they shouldn’t be going anywhere longer than a week. Like a normal honeymoon.
personally for me this is just the bare minimum, they shouldn’t be leaving her in the first place! I have a dog and that’s the commitment you make when you get a pet, you simply can’t take 60 day cruises when you have responsibilities like that
her mum is also partially at fault. If I asked my mum to look after mine for 60 days she’d tell me to be an adult and look after my own responsibilities

I haven’t watched the vlog yet (think I have to hear these things for myself) but I find that incredibly narrow minded and frankly pathetic to read that she only wants friends like herself.I did watch the catch up video

It’s just incredulous that she thinks that way, I have friends half my age and some twice my age and the same age, who do varied jobs and positions in life, with kids and without.
The stories and life experiences I learn about about and experience with them is priceless.

I am wondering if they will conveniently time all this with Bonnie. She’s getting old, they’ve noticed a decline and they are going away in a couple of months. If the vet told them she is unlikely to last another full year, I think they will opt to have her put down before they go away.

I think Brogan can't figure out why she keeps losing friends (hint, it's because you're self obsessed and can never be considerate to others) and her solution to that is 'I just need someone EXACTLY the same as me'

On the friends thing. My friends that I have made since school are such a wide variety. Even my friends from school are leading different lives to me. Some of us meet twice a month and because we are all different the conversation starts normal enough but takes a weird turn multiple times.
