Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this "klaudiacloud" person that Britt has been swanning around NYC with this past week the same social climber who was briefly all over Estee Lalonde's feeds some years ago? And then swiftly disappeared from her life? Her mug looks oddly familiar...

Yup, it's her! I think it's funny that she befriended the woman Estée used to try to be.

Klaudiaclouds ig bio is “your Internet bestie - let’s chat” - so she’s like an influencer’s temporary friend for hire? Will hang out with you and create content? I mean it makes sense that these people exist, offering a service beyond straightforward photographer/videographer.. so interesting.

I don't think it's that deep. I think you're reading into that too much.

Don’t forget she’s off to Australia for 6 weeks after Xmas too 🫠
After about 5-6 months of work? That must be one super generous employer and BB’s work is clearly not essential or indispensable if she can leave for such a long time.

I imagine she works for them as a freelancer or subcontractor - technically she would work for herself (which makes sense as she will be already registered self employed) and she and the gallery negotiate her job requirements and/or hours ahead of time which she invoices them for either per hour or per project/output. That can be as flexible as she or they want, and as a marketeer she probably can work remotely a lot too.

That’s probably true. However, if memory serves me right in those summer vlogs where she talks about getting employed she definitely implied having to be on site. I imagined some sort of gallery assistant role where she is required to be on the premises.

I didn't see those - though freelancers do often have on-site obligations too. My friend is a freelance surveyor who often works as a subcontractor for larger companies, and when she works with them she's required to do field based assessments on set dates e.t.c.

It's a little bit like working part-time, so you're not bound by the same hours, holiday allowance e.t.c as full-timers. BBs could be similar to that where she just needs to be available for particular exhibitions and events but the rest is flexible.

I’d imagine she’d have to be onsite when a new exhibition is being installed or if there are events with the showing artists, etc., but otherwise her role is social media for the gallery, right? She can do that from anywhere as long as she has photos and video of whatever is currently on show and upcoming.

I’ll be honest, I’m hugely jealous 🤦🏻‍♀️

For sure, if that’s what her role is. However, I do remember in those early videos she made it sound like it wasn’t a social media related role and she would be working on site. Remember those jokes she made about new clothes for her new job. Maybe she wanted to sound like she was moving away from social media based work.

Ohhh you’re right. I assumed she made the jokes because it’s like starting a new school year: needs new clothes to impress the cool kids.

Realistically, what else she could do at a gallery other than social media marketing?!

Annnnddd leaving this here 😂

I can't really tell why but her New York vlog had a different and a bit weird atmosphere. Maybe because of that Klaudia person

Referencing someone who was off camera a lot of the time and not properly introducing them (I skipped through bits of the vlog so may have missed this) made it feel odd for me.

Totally agree. Seemed like Britt was dragging around after Klaudia while she got her brows/lashes done, and then felt obliged to have a facial massage. Very un-her things to do, so she retreated to drab little coffee shops on her own (much more her vibe 😂)
Her and Klaudia seem like chalk and cheese?

They LOOK like chalk & cheese. I actually don't mind Klaudia too much (her vlogs were mindless fluff when she did them and I actually really enjoy her sense of style, plus anyone who knows to ditch Estee must be an okay person lol), but they both seem like they have such diff personalities? But hey, opposites attract.

Also, I think her NYC vlog felt different because I think she probs forgot to vlog - seems like she actually socialised with Klaudia (there's some shots of them in Klaudia's reels on insta) and probs got too distracted to vlog since half the time was her just recapping tit.
