Came here to mention this product. Takes a few weeks but really clears out pores and brightens skintry paulas choice 2% bha toner and slowly incorporate it, one or twice a week and then increase as it can cause purging or your skin might not agree with it. my skin hates SA x
I wish my boyfriend would let me at his spotsYep I’ve got one! They’re really good but you do need to be careful with them as they can leave bruises. If you do get one, pull the skin taught and then go over it gently, and don’t leave it in one place for too long.
My boyfriend gets really bad blackheads and enlarged pores on his nose so I use it on him every few weeks. Make sure you steam your face first too, that makes it easier
It won't help blackheads that sit there and do nothing. It's anti-bacterial so if they get inflamed or turn into spots or cysts then it will. It works to peel away the dead skin cells, stop bacteria forming, and dry out the excess oil so none of it can clog the pore but it's more for inflammatory acne. You can buy it from superdrug or boots etc, they keep it behind the counter usually but it's non-prescription. If you don't have inflamed spots, it's not for you.I remember my sister having ancecide prescribed from the doctor as a teenager (bad acne), I used to pinch it when I had a spot it burned like hell but certainly did the trick. I’ve recently seen it advertised on the tele so is it available to buy without prescription? Would it work on blackheads?
Yes! Absolutely pointless, I bought a cheapish one off ebay then a branded one. Both pointless.Has anyone used one of those pen things that literally suck the shite out your face??? I wanna know of they're worth the money![]()

You could try benzoyl peroxide cream such has acnecide if they're really bad but beware it it very strong, you need the tiniest bit, I mean 1/4 a pea size amount would do your whole chin. It can cause peeling even with the smallest amount and you need spf if you do.
We’ve had two, the first one we got online from a random place and it worked for a month or so and then stopped holding the charge.Could you please link the one you have?
I want to try one but don't want to get a crappy one which doesn't work and there seems to be loads of cheap ones out at the moment x
For waxing, you can buy a wax pot online that comes with pre/after care gel and wax. They are relatively cheap. It’s not hard to do your eyebrows, you just use a disposable mascara wand to brush your hairs into place. Then use a little bit of wax and follow the direction your hair goes then put the strip on and pull against it. So usually for your eyebrows you’ll put the wax on towards your hairline. Then pull the strip towards your other brow - if that makes sense. Use petroleum jelly on the main bit of your eyebrows on your first go as this will stop any wax that you might drop pulling off your brows. I then use tint afterwards. Not been to a salon for my brows in years!Has anyone any tips or tricks to get rid of blackheads and clogged pores? My chin area is quite bad at the moment, I assume wearing masks won’t be helping the situation. I have tried peel off strips and The Ordinary acids in the past.
Also while we’re talking beauty can anybody recommend anything to shape eyebrows, any wax strips you’ve tried that actually remove the hairs?
