Hey guys! Anyone recommend any trainers for walking ? My nikes are almost gone and where only 40 euro. I'd spent up to 100 quid, if anyone has any they recommend please let me know 🚶‍♂️

I have north face walking trainers £75. I've always bought normal trainers but thought I'd give these a go. I'm city based and walk the streets , parks and riverside. I try to do at least an hour and a half in the week and longer at weekends. They feel a bit more sturdy than a normal trainer and I've been pleased with them so far.

I'm a big fan of sketchers for pavement walking - I have a pair of their go-walks (the ones with laces not the slip ons) and they're fab! My first pair I had a few years ago and wore them every day on holiday in New York when I was clocking up approx 20k steps a day and my feet were never sore.

I recommend sketchers too for walking I love mine and wear them every day great for walking anywhere on paths and in the woods super comfy

I find that Sketchers just don't give enough support to my feet, I have had a couple of pairs.

Ok for knocking around in but not for sturdy walking

I was a huge fan of Nike MD Runner 2; went through four pairs of it in a row. I don't know what they changed but the last time I tried them on at the store, it was like wearing a cardboard box. Zero support and very uncomfortable.

I've switched to Reebok Classics since then. Great decision, very comfortable.

Depends what sort of walking you do. I do a lot of off road/footpaths and swear by my north face hedghogs. Super comfy and waterproof, but not the prettiest
