Whenever I feel bad (even emotionally or something like flu/headache/broken ankle) my jamaican aunty always tells me to go eat a banana and sit outside for a bit and it actually really does help šŸ¤£ it's her answer for everything but shes onto something

Spend money on good shoes and a good mattress. If youā€™re not in one your in the other. A simple one but so glad I took heed!

Take vitamin D supplements - really helps to boost my mood and fight tiredness (when I remember to take it šŸ™ƒ)

Also it takes 21 days to form a habit. Iā€™ve given up sugar before, it was hell for three weeks then I was absolutely fine and lasted a few months. You just really have to motivate yourself to get through the first 21 days

Check your boobs ladies. Regularly.
Always go for your cervical screen.
Trust your gut, itā€™s rarely wrong.
Donā€™t drink - you always regret it & youā€™re a bitch the next morning :ROFLMAO:
Move every day.

I lost quite a lot of weight by shifting my mentality from ā€œwhat I canā€™t eatā€ to ā€œwhat I can eatā€.
By allowing myself to eat everything I stopped the vicious circle of restrictions

The best health advice I was given was don't take back an abuser.
Aside from him physically hurting me. He was mentally, emotionally draining me.
I couldn't see the physical impact the abuse was having on me. My hair was thinning, my eyes were sunken my skin was pale.

That thereā€™s no one correct way to be healthy and things (especially food) arenā€™t inherently split into good and bad or healthy and unhealthy.

Also, to not get sucked in by (the majority of) the health industry as itā€™s all just a massive profit making machine. You donā€™t need spirulina, maca powder, turmeric or juice cleanses. Obviously supplements have their uses but the average person doesnā€™t need to drink a green juice with spirulina first thing in the morning.

If you have an upset tummy make sure you rub it clockwise and never rub it anti-clockwise. Probably an old wives tale but it helps me lol!

I am literally addicted to sugar! Iā€™d love to go sugar free by find itā€™s in everything.. hence why Iā€™m addicted. I have started buying aldi sugar free chocolate and I have cut out fizzy so small steps I guess!

I used to suffer really bad with hay fever and was referred to an ENT specialist, he advised I use Pirinase nasal spray daily (as well as an antihistamine tablet) and make sure when I spray it to keep it in the middle of my nose (don't sniff basically). Really simple but was a massive game changer for me and now my hay fever symptoms are very mild
