Best Face Masks

Not to start a debate about whether or not face masks help. But I really struggle to find good fitting face masks so thought it might help me (and others) to post where you’ve found good fitting and comfy face masks?

I find those sheet style face masks annoying and uncomfortable. Most finish at the chin whereas I see my neck and face as one when it comes to cleansing and moisturising.

I'm primarily use the mud and charcoal face masks that you smooth on with your fingers. I find they give a deeper clean.
I understood the question as in COVID-19 face mask, not beauty face masks. But I could be wrong.

Oh my god so sorry lol 😅 I was on a beauty thread earlier but shouldn't just assume these things.

Hahahaha omg sorry guys!! Yes I meant face masks for covid 19. Although you know beauty face masks are always good to know too!!

This thread has reminded me of when I used to work in a pharmacy - people would come in asking where the face masks were, almost every single time I would direct them towards the cosmetic face masks and 90% of the time they were actually looking for medical face masks 🤦‍♀️ This was long before covid too!

Anyway I will be following this thread cos I’m intrigued to see peoples’ suggestions! I heard silk is the best material?

I've been using pacamask ones, they fit really well and have the adjustable ear loops. A little pricey but I'd say they're worth it.

I've had a few from just Home Bargains. I find those the best ones personally. More breathable and cheap enough!

Oh I was looking at pacamasks and couldn’t work out if they were worth it!!
I'd say they are, they're good if you wear glasses too, I had no issues with mine steaming up until the change in weather but that happens every year so isn't mask related.

The ones they sell in National Trust are the best. Snug fit which means my glasses don’t steam up! And they are made of a nice soft fabric too.

I have family members who work for the NHS and say most face masks are useless. Even the surgical ones. However I’ve bought some silk ones off Etsy to wear in mask-mandatory environments as I suffer with acne. The silk is supposed to be kinder to your skin.
