Old thread

Thread title should end with low...

Last thread was started in January so that just shows how boring our Becky is 😴

Think she had a get away with the girls.

The focus this year was the garden instead of a holiday. Summer house was moved and furniture was #gifted so, unless they paid for 10 skips and not 1, I don't know how that tallies with the cost of a holiday 🙃

One of her "best friends" got married and Becky was whipped into wedding planning mode. Pic below of the happy couple 😅

More recently she's been feeling lost and managed to see a GP with the same ease as making her haircut appointment (same day). Could be perimenopause and she was given options. Sadly she's more worried about weight gain if she chooses the HRT route.

Pinched another pic from the last thread for a bit of comic relief. Also made the thread title from a line courtesy of @Star15sh, hope that's ok.

So Mac and his girlfriend are having a baby... another grandchild for Becky and as Brooke puts it "Manny's new bestie"

What about poor Eliza?!?

Of course it’ll be an insta baby as Mac’s gf is besties with Brooke so the ‘mum and me app’ freebies will be dished out
I was sweating last night and ache like a witch with menopause, my doctor is useless told me last time to go away and come back when I’ve not had a period for six months. Still getting the odd one but I’m putting my foot down this week to see a different doctor as I can’t carry on like this. Beggy gets an appointment without a care in the world and gets offered hrt, I have more chance getting tit out of a rocking horse than getting it from my gp
Not to worry she’s trying herbal and having her hair cut so all is good.!

I don’t think she spoke to anyone. I don’t think she had an appointment at all.

Only thing wrong with her is she’s on a massive summer comedown, she won’t be able to sit in the garden in the sun all day on the wine! She does this every year.

Same. I don’t think she’s going through the menopause at all. All her issues are ED connected and deep down, she knows it.

It looked like a hostage video this morning with her hands shaking and eyes wide ‘I’m fine now, feeling much better’. She doesn’t need herbal tablets she’s self medicating with off the internet she needs some proper help from the gp

I feel for you. I’m 45 this month and my gp wont help, I’m suffering so much with my mental health, extreme anxiety that I can tell is hormones but because I’ve had anxiety all my life due to trauma they fob me off but this is so different. It’s like I’m plugged in at the mains 24/7. I’ve suddenly got weird phobias, panic attacks, waking up with anxiety, depression that I’ve not had before, rage and ranting at my poor husband at times, crying all the damn time…. Plus I’ve had shorter cycles, super long cycles, but yeh come back when you’re 50. It’s terrible. Beggy gets in the same day, offered hrt and refuses due to weight gain. I’d take it for the weight gain as I’ve lost weight due to all this adrenaline! It’s horrific, I’m barely living this year. I hope your GP offers you some help, keep going and don’t give up. You’d think that in 2024 they’d listen and know more about peri!

I don’t know where you are but in my county ( Bedfordshire ) they offer a service called Bedfordshire talking therapies . It’s free on the nhs you literally just have to self refer . Please see if this is available near you. It’s helped me so much and you can have up to 12 sessions. Equally they may refer you back to the doctor and ‘back you up’ with being taken seriously .

I’m in wales. I’ll look into that, thank you.

She looks so poorly. Her organs will all just give up one day. It’s really sad to she how far back she is going xx
