I know we aren’t fans of her here on tattle but I think she would do an alright job if the show was actually live and she had some audience interactions to bounce off on
i thought the same! i’m no fan either, but they’re putting her at a massive disadvantage already by taking away one of the key (and most entertaining) parts of radio from her. or do they really not trust her to do it live?!

it’s so odd; i caught the end of it as i left work and she sounded so stilted and awkward even in a prerecord.

her live shows last summer weren’t great imo but presumably they must have got reasonable listening figures for them to give her another shot, even if this time round it’s prerecorded. That or the bbc are just really pushing for her , considering most other presenters wouldn’t get a second chance after swearing on their second ever show

I read earlier it was pre-recorded because of her swearing and also to fit in around her busy schedule. If she can’t clear one afternoon a week for six weeks she is not exactly a long term prospect for having a show surely

Is it really just because of the swearing? Just doesn't seem that much of a big deal as it occasionally happens on live TV and they just apologise and move on

I assumed it may be a scheduling conflict but even then, having it all pre-recorded is so stupid

I wouldn't be surprised if she's pre-recorded all 6 episodes at once. If you take out the music a show is probably only about 30% talking, so easy to record and edit in the songs later.

When u turn anything over to jeremy vine you know it's bad.
Ive said before here that either JV is an attention seeker or just thick, who knows at this point.
I'd like to know how he can keep his BBC show.
On his channel 5 TV show they were discussing the reform conference and showed a clip of the old man reform councillor assaulting the woman at the conference and JV said that it was 'comical' and laughed.
Regardless of your political views, hitting a woman is definitely not comical!!
