Bad TV

There is too much bad TV!!!!

I couldn't find a thread to post how unfunny plebs is!
Tom Rosenthal sounds and acts just like will from the Inbetweeners to me. The acting in this show is so God awful I just don't get why it was nominated for a bafta!? I didn't even smile once when I watched this. Not to mention an appearance from Amanda Holden.

Also Noel Fielding ruins bake off and really irritates me!

I hate to disagree but I really like Plebs., it is what I like to call brainwashing TV. I find it an easy watch.

I also like Noel Fielding.

I hate most reality TV shows but can see how people get sucked in.

I also dislike soaps and Channel 5 afternoon films.

Any of the property programmes are unwatchable shite.

I sell homemade Live, Laugh, Love door hangers on Etsy and my husband is a professional bike seat sniffer, and between us we're looking for a 6 bed mansion with an infinity swimming pool, tennis courts and room for a pony that needs some renovations so we can make a profit. Our budget is £8.64 and half a packet of choccy digestives."

I've found most TV of the last decade absolutely awful. I can't relate to much of it. I am sick to death of the amount of rape and really graphic sex featured in shows and worry it's having an impact in the real world and how men view women. I am unable to watch many shows because the violence is so extreme like torture porn.

I am so grateful for DVDs and platforms which offer a wider variety of choice and I seek refuge in mostly older stuff these days. I am not even 40 yet but feel like such a sad fogey.

I just about managed to continue watching bake off when noel joined, I have no idea why they picked him, he adds nothing, but I like pru and Sandi so stuck with it, we’ll Lucas was a numpty too far for me, I’m out

I can't watch Noel Fielding on anything. He gives me a serious case of the ick and I don't know why. Bake Off was over for me the moment he joined, and I am still resentful.

Cant stand soaps at all and anything designed to make me laugh usually doesn't.

I've switched to listening to music in the backround an doing craft stuff, cannot stand to watch our TV now a days, the only TV shows I'll watch are online from other country's occasional because this country is terrible now

Cannot stand soaps an it's will it be a who dunnit murder, fire, affair, transport accident etc which rotates every year, like seriously do none of these soaps actually have a happy Xmas or happy anything in them, just rotating storylines

All these quiz shows which half the time are made up of idiots an the here's money you can win but actually not cause we going make sure there's like 18 catches to it

All these "new" dramas which are written with the same 4 writers, oohh will it be a affair or murder this one or why not both

Reality shows, how people don't realise these things are a fix is beyond me, the money some will waste phoning in for nothing but to pay high wages to over payed presenters is unreal, someone actually leaked the contract to the voice an it says quite plainly that votes mean nothing, if a contestant is doing well an the producers don't want them then they can kick them even if they are winning votes an the other tv shows contracts are much the same

I did watch plebs an Friday night dinner when they were on, more in the backround, if somthing is short like 20/30mins ill somtimes give it a go but tv is nothing compared to what it used to be, Saturday nights are god awful now, I remember being a kid an we would have to fight over what channel we wanted to watch an what channel was being recorderd because there was so much on, now its a fight over which streaming site to go on because there's nothing, am honestly talking my parents into getting rid of the TV licence because it's starting to become a waste of money to us, kids shows as well have become so babied, the kids shows I used to watch could be enjoyed by all the family but now they are literally aimed at 8 year olds, you would never get away with kids shows lole Grange Hill or biker Grove now with parents complaining it's too mature for their kids

The first two series were ok, but they messed around with the format and replaced some of the actors. It is unwatchable now.

I often wonder what dirt the creator of Mrs. Brown's Boys has on the BBC. Everyone seems to hate this show yet this year he's been given two Christmas specials????!!!!

I love how unrealistic they all are, especially the ones abroad where they somehow imagine they can afford a spanish villa on the beach for soem loose change " We want to be in the town centre, but nowhere near a busy road, be surrounded by countryside and trees. A sea view would be a plus. Actually, not a plus, we are not willing to sacrifice any of these. Must also have a sea view"

I thought this show was a mockumentary when I first watched it.

Sorry to any Hollyoaks fans that I'm about to offend but it has to be the worst soap on TV.. They've ruined it, it used to be so good back in the day with all the old story lines and cast but now its just utter cheese and stupid.

Property shows with snooty buyers. These have dominated the TV landscape for years, thankfully it's mostly daytime

Practically all new dramas are shite.

All the reality Police shows that are on have either run their course or poorer versions of long gone ones

The only things I've enjoyed post inbetweeners is Fresh Meat and White Gold - but the actors themselves were held up by a very good casts

All reality TV is pretty dreadful now.
