I love Baby Yoda. And to think production originally wanted to replace the puppet for CGI instead. It would have not been the same.

Oh my goodness have you guys seen the Laura Dern / baby Yoda story ? It’s too funny. Basically a reporter asked her on a red carpet for her thoughts and she said “I saw him at a basketball game” prompting a very long confused silence. At first people thought she didn’t know who he was and thought it was a rapper because of the “baby” but as time has passed it seems she is 1. Fully aware of who baby Yoda is 2. Sticking to her story.

People are tweeting “I believe you” and she’s replying “thank you.”

I saw someone describe it as “the last iconic moment of the decade.”

I have a Star Wars obsessed man and son and have never watched a Star Wars thing in my life, even when I took one for the team and went to see one of the yawn fest films at the cinema,I fell asleep. But I’m watching the mandalorian for baby Yoda. I have never seen anything cuter in my existence. I would love a little hovering cot with baby Yoda in it

We have It’s worth watching purely for the joy that is baby Yoda. Everything he does is cute. Pedro Pascal is in it (from Narcos) and I like him but he wears a helmet so you can’t actually tell it’s him. I think all the baby Yoda scenes have been made into gifs/memes already

This was enjoyable enough for anyone interested in Internet phenomena, memes, baby yoda...
But it’s funny how it talks about how quickly things blow up online and now it’s become a victim of that - no mention of Laura Dern. It probably was posted just before it was everywhere.
Also a few hours ago there were definitely comments (someone posted they should allow pictures for baby Yoda memes) and now I can’t see any. Am I blind? Did they turn them off to stop Laura Dern spam ? Do we really live in a world where that matters so much? Or is there a far more sensible explanation all together?

Can I be the one person to spoil it and point out that's it's not actually Yoda? (I know I know, theres always one isnt there!)
The Mandalorian is set about 5 years after Yoda's death in Return of the Jedi, so this little cutie pie is the same species, but isnt Yoda...

Nevertheless though, I want one!
