I just wish other people would not take Val’s word as gospel and realise that, far from being ‘mother of the year’ she has done her daughter a great disservice over the years, and continues to do so.

I agree with the fact that parents / caregivers have to be listened to....we do have to participate in our children's education and HELP THEM to cope, express themselves and to help them navigate the world...it's NOT up to us to blame and try changing the world to cope and comply with all our children's needs... That's not reality period.

Jessica is groomed and prompted as to how to act on cam...also they edit and jump cut every video removing all of Jessica's outbursts , inappropriate behaviour and language ..then acting like yes...Jessica is always pleasant....we KNOW that's a lie.

She's loud mouthy rude and abusive to the animals and anyone who crosses her, the poor cat isn't even allowed in the house because Jessica hates ALL animals including zoey...but Val lies to Jess saying Zoey is hers so Val can keep her.

Val has to keep Jessica at home, quit her job, have 3 adults living under the roof AND pay Marlow ( not a professional just a babysittter) to ALL help in the daily care of sweet pleasant Jessica..if she has no behavioural issues why does it take 4 adults to deal with her.

Jessica is a perfect example of what happens when professionals are not included as part of the team... No therapists no teachers...no one. Just crazy mom, her sons ex girlfriend and the hypochondriac sister Hannah.... As long as everyone does what control freak Vale says...all's good!

Val talks about giving Jessica respect...
Is lying to her about buying a house, Moving to Disney, becoming a nurse, filming her right out of bed looking like an old homeless bag lady respectful? Telling her to study? For her nursing... Having your sons ex help bathe her???

Val is a typical abuser...control freak, isolating Jessica from medical care, therapists, any professionals , teachers....etc... Only are you allowed into the inner sanctum of bat shit crazinesss if you adhere to follow the rules Val provides.

Vals RULES and Requirements:

Everyone must lie to Jessica on a daily basis, keep up the story of Jess moving out with her girlfriend after she finishes nursing school and can independently cook her chicken nuggets.
No one is permitted to correct, redirect, discipline or teach Jessica anything ever...
Jessica is allowed to do, say whatever she wants or Val tells her to say...everything can be edited out for appearances later.
You must agree to take a shift deleting any and all messages on FB that calls out any of the Brooks family members.
You must never disagree with Val or Jessica or expose the lies Val spreads...
You must get/ change all your credit cards to the Disney rewards program and contribute to Vals Disney obsession and vacations.
You must tell Jessica a dozen times a day she has anxiety..
Learning to be a grifter on YouTube would be an asset.
Ample house keeping skills and dog walking are requirements
And finally... You must be able to take being screamed at by feral Jessica, schlaaaaaaped, groped and used as her slave/ maid.

WallFly that post is utterly amazing. All completely true. Well done . It's my son in law who is a psychologist,and knew Jessica and her mother and grandmother from jessicas school. My daughter(also a psychologist) watch AI and are STUNNED. They are furious at Vals lies. Food was never withheld. Not once. Never. Jessica attacked other pupils,and parents when they stepped in to try and stop her.Val was told teachers and the psychologist and educational psychiatrist wanted Jessica evaluated for schizophrenia. She had violent outbursts,and they were alarmed at her talking in other peoples voices. Lists of other things as long as your arm. Val and her mother created a terrible scene , screaming and shouting at school staff etc saying they were never to mention the word schizophrenia ever again and only to mention autism. Val and her family know she isnt autistic. They know this. But schizophrenia doesnt bring in money. And she was told Jessica has vision,she isnt blind. Val again,insisted she was blind. Shortly after that day,they removed Jessica from the school.

I wonder how Val would explain away Sonny Boys’ behavior. I would consider that deviant behavior.

Val sounded like Jess could be a nuclear physicist but she just can’t read or write.

Well said to everyone posting. My heart especially goes out to others here, with children with autism, who’ve done the hard work of teaching and sustaining skills to be able to navigate in this world.

I thought the same. When I first started watching, I don’t think there were as many challenging/negative comments but I wonder if that was because they’d been deleted before I’d seen them. I do think more and more people are realising that all is not what it seems on AI, just wish more would.

13 minutes of Val lying and making excuses for Jessica’s nasty behavior. Poor Jessica has just been misunderstood her whole life. No Val, Jessica is feral, has never had any rules to follow and becomes nasty the minute she doesn’t get her way. THATS been the problem her whole life. Val has ruined Jessica’s life because she will never be a pleasant human being and I feel sorry for whoever has to deal with her when Val isn’t around anymore. That’s when the real problem is going to come because a care facility will absolutely not put up with Jessica’s behaviors.

She is now ruining Hannah’s life and all that is left is Hannah going off on a “new“ career with her brother and it will be 3 kids down

Jess doesn’t read or write because of VAL’s laziness. The school taught Jess and yet rather than parenting, Val did NOTHING but make excuses and let the skills go to the wayside

Jessica is always happy and joyful, unless you cross her. She has a team of people to go to when she is frustrated. Who Val? Who is the team? One video, she has problems the next she is always happy. What a liar. Yes, Jessica will always be happy if you tip toe around her, give in to every demand. And cater to her. It’s like she will always walk in sunshine if nothing or nobody ever crosses her path. I would hate to see the care home when she gets there. Heavy medication is in her future

I think because people are seeing through the game Val is playing! She all had us fooled at one time! I have an autistic granddaughter and thought I might learn something! I learned they were scammers just like Fathering Autism which I also tried to watch!

It has always explained so much to me and your son in law had to be frustrated!! I remember a couple videos when they jokingly told Jess she could not have a certain thing at the grocery store and her mood and facial expressions changed in a flash. The hate and disbelief on her face was priceless! She was ready to fight!!!

In todays video Val made it plain she has no use for professional help when it comes to Jessica. If your an involved parent you don’t need them. What a horrible message to send to parents of children with disability’s.. This is not Val’s first video spouting about the same crap. She cited the same bullshit in the video, Do I Dicipline Jess?Yet in other videos she speaks of her spitting, hitting with cane, being kicked of the bus, cmon you don’t get kicked off the bus for no communication You aren’t told by a dentist don’t bring her back, because of no communication. You don’t ban watching the news in your own home for no communication, you don’t watch everything you say AND the way you say it because of communication skills. Jessica only shows behaviours when she’s misunderstood, so society should conform to understanding Jessica or pay the price. Keep her in her cocoon Val but someday she will have to face the real world . It won’t be pretty!
