I hope she’s seeing a psychologist or that she’s gone to her GP for some support. Her baby is over one now, it should be getting easier. Yes, the daycare illnesses are tough, but she seems to lack resilience. HFM isn’t fun, but she has one kid and she works from home, for herself. It shouldn’t send her spiralling.
My first was an incredibly difficult baby (still is

), but there was a sweet spot once they started walking, they’re more independent, they can entertain themselves slightly longer and before the tantrums really started. She’s not in the thick of it with toddler behaviour yet, the kid actually seems fairly laid back. She’ll be online in five years admitting to how she struggled for so long and was miserable while trying to put on a happy face.
She seems like a sweet person and I really do wish the best for her. It’s hard to watch.
