I’m soo so shocked. As a mother I just don’t know how you can do that line of work. Constantly put yourself at risk. The teachers must have a field day with this at school.
I’ve said it before but I’ll keep saying it until I’m blue in the face, sex work is real work. There are lots of jobs that are riskier than sex work.

Wow! Love that nagi called her out. There are so many influencers who do this hopefully this happens more.
Couldn’t agree more. It takes a special kind of dickhead to steal from Recipetin Eats - not only is her work incredibly well known and beloved (so you would always get caught!) but as she says, she uses the money made from the website to fund her food charity. Brooki is literally stealing from the homeless to make money.

No offence to anyone here who likes them but I think Sabbi t-shirts are ugly, do not get the hype at all

Anyone else get a chuckle from Nagi’s ‘back to work’ Insta story where she’s making biscoff stuffed cookies 🤣 Well played Queen!

Anyone else feel that it’s really ick for Jock Zonfrillo’s wife Lauren to cash in on a book called “Til Death”?
She’s doing the media and podcast rounds now, refusing to actually answer how he died because of “privacy”…but happy to literally sell a book about how she dealt with it…the hypocrisy when there’s potential $$ to be made is ridiculous… and also it’s obvious either died by a suicidal or accidental overdose, or surely you’d just release that it was a heart attack or a stroke etc…

God I get so angry and sad hearing of women dying during childbirth who do full free birth / non assisted home births. Always the same communities, imagine having kids and a partner and chosing your sheer arrogance that blah blah blah everything will work out in divine time and the universe has you and you end up dead. I feel for these kids imagine knowing as you got older your mum chose possible death over getting help and staying with you 😭

Yep so awesome. Just shows it’s totally possible to do and further cements that exploitive parents and influencer with kids where I know their full names, birthday and personal details are just scum.

I was at the supermarket tonight and as I walked in, I saw a girl with her dad, I recognised her immediately as an influencers daughter; even though she wasn’t with her Mum! These kids need protecting’
I was in a shop on Sunday and the woman in front of me was someone I’ve followed for years (not an influencer at all) - she doesn’t have a huge following but is a prolific sharer of her day-to-day life of her and her 5 kids (aged between 14-19 now). I struck up a convo and mentioned I’ve followed her and we made the connection. We had a lovely chat but she was gobsmacked that I knew all her kids names and other info, it was quite an innocuous convo. She DM’d me later that day and was really rattled that a complete stranger could know so much about her kids as she’d never really thought about what she posts. Well derrrrr Freddy

It’s fucking tragic, but I’m glad she died because of her own stupid decisions and not an innocent baby. Honestly, child protection should be involved in these incidents. Both parents were negligent and it’s lucky the baby was born safely. I hope this example makes some of those insane women realise they don’t know better than trained doctors and actual science…
Oh but it’s ok, they got a go fund me set up quicksmart 🙄 happy to take peoples money but not their medical advice.

“I will update everyone on the result of my colonoscopy in due course- lots asking”.

Jesus fucking Christ. If you are asking an influencer how their butt camera procedure went, you need to reevaluate your life

I have been waiting for this.. Brooke or 'Brooki' opened a dessert shop in my home town in 2016 off the back of being a travel blogger/influencer... It was and has never been what you would call successful imho. It's also not a 'bakery' by any stretch of the imagination.
She claimed to have been inspired by food from her travels but had no formal training or cooking background (that I and others were aware of). She worked in there but also hired chefs so it was not a solo enterprise.
The food was crap when it opened, everything was excessively sugary with no real discernable flavour. Further visits in later years showed no change to this. They never really extended their menu beyond cupcakes, macarons and freakshakes with some plated food like waffles, panookie etc.
After a few years she sold it or leased it out - not sure on details - and up and left. I was pretty shocked to see her again with a seemingly successful bakery and now Brooki. She definitely got lucky on the marketing/socials front because she definitely isn't the experienced baker she portrays herself as. (Not that you can't be self-taught, but I think what we are seeing here is the reality of not having the necessary background and training; I always got the impression that she thought she knew everything from travelling and was above learning from the ground up).
It also personally shits me when people just jump into the hospitality industry when they have no real life experience and call themselves chefs/bakers when the rest of us slog out an apprenticeship in tough conditions and meagre wages, so I may be a bit biased 🤣🤣🤣

I also love Nagi's recipes, you can tell how hard she has worked and how much time and effort she has put into them. She deserves better than someone ripping her hard work and I'm very inclined to agree with her knowing what I know of Brooke 🤷. She deserves the backlash if she has. Her reply also seems suss, why would change anything if you know they are your recipes and you can back it up. Lol.

I’m so glad this is all coming out about Brooke. Back when I was a travel blogger, she quickly came on the scene and became hugely popular overnight. She was plagiarising content left, right and centre. I saw content on her site that was clearly lifted from my site and from travel blogger friends who had been working hard on our sites for years with in-depth research. She would spend one day in a city and then write about the top 10 places to visit there 🙄 She would add some pretty photos of herself and that was it. She bought all her early Instagram followers, 100s of 1000s of them, going down the fake it till you make it path. Every single place she went to was sponsored and never declared.

As the person above mentioned, she then opened a cafe in Tassie with her mother, copying all the recipes from famous places she had travelled to. She also had a wedding dress business with her mother before that. Obviously her family has backed everything she had done. She even renovated an old house ‘on her own’ before moving to Brisbane. She’s a brilliant marketer, I’ll give her that.

Wait Jodi Gordon works at call centre now?
Jodi Gordon has opened up about her new career out of the spotlight.

The Australian actress, who first shot to fame on the long-running Seven soap Home and Away in 2005, is now working as a mental health support staffer for four days per week at Sane Australia, an organisation which offers digital and telehealth services to people struggling.

Gordon, 39, who is now two years sober after battling with alcohol addiction, told Stellar the role had given her a deeper purpose, having suffered with similar issues in the past.

As someone who has gone off the deep end myself, this (helping others) is a typical and common arc in refinding one's self, values and purpose. Good for her.

I respect her so much for protecting their privacy. It shits me that’s she had to confirm something that isn’t anyone’s business.
