Just seeing if anyone has any answer as I can't get through to anyone on the phone. I've recently had an enhanced dbs check submitted. It flew through the first 4 stages being completed in 2 days, but I've been stuck on stage 5 now for 14 days when I read this normally takes 24 hours. Is this normal?

A friend has just had her advanced come back. The first few stages went through quick then stage 5 the printing took a week. There is absolutely no logic to how they work over there as to their timeline
I had one earlier this year and it took about 6 weeks. The one I had last year took 4 months and was stuck at stage 4 for ages.

How long ago was it? If it helps I've been arrested 3 times (yes I'm dumb) and it came back clean.
It was 7 years ago, oh really thank you I hope mines the same. I've been worried sick about it as I didn't declare it as its not a conviction so I believe you don't have to tell them I could be wrong

Im part of a community fitness/health/slimming group and we were all told we need enhanced DBS checks (long story) they all came back within 3 days. The online checking system was quite good.
Just had mine done all back in a week
The delay can come when it reaches the police check stage. If your local police force has a lot of applications to deal with, then you’re at the back of the queue.
