Any sites similar to Goodreads?

My friend has told me Goodreads has changed and now you can't add books to your total, something to do with people not adding good enough books by Goodreads standards. Is this true? (Currently reading a fairly long book so not had a chance to look yet!)

And if so are there sites similar where you can set a reading challenge, and even better transfer data over if Goodreads has gone to pot!

Haven't heard what your friend has said. Seems a bit weird to me. Goodreads is owned by amazon and there is a lot of crap on kindle unlimited so doubt there is a quality threshold.

On the topic of alternatives storygraph is one people seem to love. I have tried it and don't think it is a good as goodreads as it doesn't integrate with my kindle.

I use Storygraph but I do find it quite clunky. I don't use Kindle anyway so it wasn't an issue for me, and in fact that's why I chose Storygraph instead. You can transfer your data over from Goodreads, but it's quite longwinded.

I use Storygraph. Whilst it's not perfect, I do like how it shows your reading stats, and I especially like that you can give quarter and half stars.
