Antiperspirant that actually works

I know such a thing exists because I used to use a Mitchum one that honestly felt like it was sucking your armpits dry when you put it on. They discontinued it a while ago and I can’t find anything else that comes even close. Have tried all the dove and sure maximum protection ones, the new Mitchum ones (that claim to last 48hrs). I don’t sweat excessively or anything, just a normal amount! I’m fed up of feeling sticky by lunchtime - doesn’t help I have to wear a thick uniform for work. Any others I can try, I prefer roll on but would try sprays or anything if it actually worked!

The Sure Maximum Protection one has always worked for me (although I've stopped in favour of natural deodorant now) - are you applying it regularly and before bed? It's recommended that you apply it at nighttime for it to start working the next day, and it definitely starts to work better after a few days/weeks when you've been applying it every day, you almost stop sweating...

Driclor and Odaban are expensive (£10) but work well! I used them when working 12.5hr shifts on 35 degree Ward 🤣🤣🤣

Following!
This makes so much sense as I used Mitchum years ago and it was great. Bought it again recently and I’m sure something has changed as it’s no where near as effective (or I’m a lot sweatier these days haha)

I never knew this! So do you reapply it in the morning? I shower before work so not sure how this would still work ...! Definitely going to try though

Yep can't recommend Sure enough, never used any other deodorant as this does the job! I apply every morning and night and no matter how hot it gets or how sweaty I get, I never get a hint of BO! Even in this London heatwave my partner keeps saying I smell great haha

edit: I don't think the roll-ons work nearly as good as the spray - spray all the way!

I only used to reapply in the morning if I'd forgotten to do it at night, but I'm a night-time post-gym showerer so that worked for me. I think it would still have some effect as it's about the build-up of... something... that stays on the skin. When I stopped using it in favour of natural deo it pretty much took me 2 weeks to start sweating a normal amount again, and obviously I showered a lot in that time!

ETA it says on their website "apply at night when your sweat glands are less active. You will be protected for 48 hours, even after showering." https://www.suredeodorant.co.uk/innovation/maximum-protection.html

Well I never knew that - I always apply in the morning..
I use Sure so may give it a go.
That said, I’m peri-menopausal so my sweat glands are definitely not less active at night!

i have spent so bloody much trying to control my stench in this heat, I've tried every different brand under the sun and yes some work, but i have to reapply every few hours...

I decided to go to Lidl on a whim and i bought their own deodorant because what did i have to lose?!

....BEST. DEODORANT. I'VE. EVER. USED. Mental!!!!!
