She’s so, ugh. I went right off her when she started posting about the weight loss jabs as a pretty, skinny rich woman who has never struggled with her weight. Since then the veil has truly fallen. Get money comes from Caspar, who is a landlord and hotelier. Pretty sure he’s not doing anything to benefit the people of Cape Town, besides offering overpriced student accommodation.

I do like Ambar, generally think she is a sweet girl. I think her fan girl club is a good idea and something I would be pleased for my daughters to engage with, provided it’s moderated. She is living the dream really. Her career and life is bankrolled and enabled by Caspar.. I hope she knows how incredibly lucky she is, which let’s face it, is mostly down to her good looks. She is so gorgeous!

Thanks for making this thread! To me, it feels like she had a great niche (with the body positivity stuff, female empowerment content) and has lost it/herself (maybe the pressure of being an online presence or wife to such a rich dude got to her?).

I’ve lost a LOT of respect for her - particularly the way she hid her boob job for a while - if you know that most of your following is people looking for body positivity content (who are potentially quite vulnerable to body dysmorphia), and you don’t address how/why you look the way you look - that’s super deceptive and not the sort of person I’d support.

Her content feels so lost/random without the wedding. There’s no relatability at all. We cant all ‘do something different every day to slow life down’… because we dont have limitless time and money (although unsurprisingly she gave up with that trope quickly). Where’s the authenticity? Absolutely snooze fest.

What you have to consider aswell is that Caspar’s income covers all living costs, most likely. So even if she makes enough for spending money, she doesn’t have the usual pressures of putting food on the table. It’s much easier to become an influencer if you have money to start off with. It takes the pressure of needing to do a 9-5 to survive, and your lifestyle is already aspirational.

it’s worse when she’s not actually good at interviewing!!! this is the only one I saw cos Caspar reposted it….she looked disinterested and her verbal nods made her look dumb somehow

sometimes im like how did that person get the opportunity but they turn out good so im like…meh, fair enough!! seems like they’re trying to find her niche but she’s too boring

Fangirl turned wife of Caspar Lee.
Used to do some worthwhile content with her Bamby Collective and body positivity stuff, but then had a boob job and became a walking billboard who does a lot of #ADs, PR trips, and out of touch videos, like the time she bought a £100 hairbrush.
After she and Caspar got engaged she made the wedding her whole personality, and her #gifted crumpled bedsheet of a wedding dress caused a lot of discourse on Tiktok earlier this year.
Thoughts?

she’s doing red carpet interviews now? 😂 i still remember one of the first ones she did in the studio, was it with James Cameron? and she was god awful! a rich and well connected husband can get u far i see

and i stopped following after she was all body positivity then secretly went and got a boob job and then pretended like she wasn’t hiding it and it was no big deal so not shocked to read about weight loss, she’s the shallow, empty shell influencer that she thinks is beneath her lol
