My late parents were both involved in amateur dramatic societies In one way or another, many many years ago!
My Dad often took part in the Christmas Panto, playing Abenazar in Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves, amongst other roles!
The photo, I believe was taken around the late 1960s, playing the Genie in Aladdin!
My Mum went to a drama college in Southport, and took part in plays at Southport Dramatic Club, this being where she met my Dad, who was working backstage on the play she was in at the time, which I believe was Trelawny of The Wells?
Not sure who or what my Mum is dressed as in the photo? If anyone knows?
