Thanks for start the thread. I've felt the situation was very strange for a while. There is a lot to unpack.
She has definitely made the most of the opportunities that wouldn't have come without his death. Her followers multiplied by 50 while he was dying.
The fact she was able to visit Nick but then lied about it is very jarring and another example of the "same storm different boat" narrative.

I had followed her when her husband was still in the hospital. I remember, absolutely sobbing because I lost my dad years back (not covid) unexpectedly and I couldn't meet him daily or even say my goodbye to him. To see a "normal" person struggling hit me and now to read the amount of privilege she was afforded feels like such a lie. I am not taking away the struggle she wet through and the loss of her husband but she was lying so much in between all that too, make her such a scammer to me.

I followed this story quite closely,finding out about it through Zach Braff and I was gutted when Nick passed away,even though I had never heard of him or Amanda before. I kept following her and couldn’t get over how positive she was in the face of adversity.

Then the posts seemed to increase,the opportunities she was showing were more lucrative etc. When she got the TV gig it was constant pictures of her outfits etc and that bored me so I unfollowed. I assumed that she was well known in America but sounds like her popularity only came about from Nicks tragedy. That article infuriated me,the privilege and special opportunities she was getting when others were refused was sickening and so far removed from what she was posting. I really hope the bit where Zach used his influence to get family into LA is not true because that’s just disgusting. He isn’t even Hollywood level famous so what made him so special? (Not that even the most famous person should have got any leeway when it came to the rules of course).

Does anyone know if there’s a thread for her sister Anna? (I’ve tried searching but can’t find one & it surprises me). I find her to be so smug and disingenuous. She constantly conceals when things are ads/gifted too & I don’t know how she continues to get away with it
