Yikes. I wonder what the Placing Authority think of this, as it's going against everything adoptive parents are trained in. They are creating a massive trauma storm which will most likely blow when teenage hormones kick in. A child's back story is their's and only their's to share with whom they choose. And that's when they are old enough and mature enough to have made sense and processed it with the help of professional therapists. Good adoptive parents would not be thrusting their child into to the limelight. They would find more low key ways for the little lad to fulfil his helpful nature and celebrate him within the family and circle of close friends.
