Had the most delicious Full English breakfast today in the local cafe

Went to the Lido earlier for a swim and then had icecream

My bf mum bought me some cup cake bath bombs

My mum & sister came down to visit

we had a really nice takeaway for dinner

my son running round with my mums dog giggling his head off

I had yesterday’s leftover Papa Johns pizza for my tea tonight.

I’ve ordered some fabrics to try out some new sewing machine projects - I’m terrible at it but I’m having fun trying.

My son and I built a den using the settee, blankets and spindles on the stairs - he then discovered if he sat on top of it that it became a hammock and he was so excited by it.

The most adorable puppy chasing after me for cuddles, following some classic cars through the country roads, busting my car tyre and not having to pay for breakdown recovery or a new tyre

We tried this new American diner for the first time and it was amazing

1. My sister sent me some photos of my nieces at the park.

2. Ordered a sink plunger for blocked sink in my bedroom.

3. My parents sent me some photos of their dogs sleeping in their new gazebo.

Picked my son up from nursery and we went and had lunch sat together on a bench in the sunshine

when I was putting my son to bed he was signing nursery rhymes to himself

my bf bought me two big grab bags of my fav crisps

Played the Sims 4 this afternoon after not playing for a while.

My daughter and I went exploring and had loads of fun

Discovered Baskin Robbins Chocolate and peanut butter ice cream

Our new blinds came and my FIL came and put them up and they look really nice
My bf said he's planning on taking me away for my birthday later in the year
I weighed myself and was surprised to see I'd lost a couple of pounds despite eating rubbish all weekend

My online food shop arrived with no substitutions or missing items

I couldn’t be bothered to cook tonight so instead of reaching for a takeaway, I had scrambled egg on toast instead.

My dad sent me a photo of their dogs sleeping and socially distanced.

My son wanted some cuddles before bath tonight as he was very tired.

I managed a great lie in this morning as my son was at his Nana’s - it was amazing.

I changed shampoos and I’ve managed three days with my hair down (with a bit of dry shampoo mixed in there for good measure). Normally I only get a day down then it’s up for a day and washed the next one as it’s so oily, three days down is like a miracle!

Yesterday

My bf has really started to help me out with general jobs around the house and I feel like a bit of a weight has been lifted
Some flowers I received over a week ago are still alive (an achievement in itself for me) and look beautiful in my front room
I got 2 skincare bits for 1p each from superdrug!

Was a long day yesterday doing hair and make up on clients going to prom
Finished the day off with a Chinese take away in the garden with my son, his girlfriend and the neighbours
Had a surprise visit from someone who has been putting a smile on my face recently... AND he bought over Prosecco and muffins!
