Yesterday my husband and I went to the Hella Mega Tour (Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer) and had an amazing time.

My 4 yo son came running into our room this morning saying “you’re back!” and gave me a big hug. He was asleep when we got home from the gig and had kept saying to his auntie “my mummy and daddy are lost”

My husband made us all pancakes for breakfast - fave.

Man came to fix our oven

sat and watched S2 Derry Girls with my daughter as she hadn’t seen it. We laughed so hard.

conditioned my hair with Olaplex. It feels so soft

I managed to unblock the sink in my bedroom.

I added some items to my scrapbook

I woke up early this morning

I got my laptop back from the repair centre which means I can play the Sims 4 again!

my boyfriend brought back some Krispy Kreme’s from the Tesco

I bought some cleaning spray and it smells just like love hearts the sweets! I love that smell

My little boy was really poorly and upset through the night, so seeing him in a better mood and more himself throughout the day made me smile

managed to catch up on a few jobs round the house when my bf got in from work

I had salmon stir fry for dinner and it was delicious

I spoke to my brother last night and he told me about the lovely gifts his Y11 SEN students gave him before they left school.

I’m going to do a homemade facial this weekend.

Someone gave me their parking ticket that had 2 hours left on it which was great as I was only popping to 1 shop for 5 minutes!

I then passed the ticket on to someone else and she was really grateful

I managed to get everything I needed in Lidl - including their own version of Mini Milk ice lollies, which are just as good if not better than the Wall's ones.

My sister sent me some photos of my nieces playing together and not fighting.

I looked in the mirror earlier and look like I've lost weight.

Waking with a slightly less heavy heart after sitting in on a parent’s oncology appt yesterday and hearing the consultant’s positive words

Mooching around the shops with MIL. I didn’t buy anything much, but it was nice to browse

Seeing DD cuddle her favourite pony this afternoon, after losing another favourite pony recently

sneaky 4th: helpless laughter over a family dinner tonight re a situation we got ourselves into last weekend on a Haven break- Cash bingo, serious bingo players, me having flash backs to That Peter Kay Thing and getting the giggles and OH calling BINGO when he was mistaken. The subsequent announcement of a FALSE CLAIM and the tuts and head shakes of the serious people surrounding us

My son was giving me words to spell on his drawing board then he kept saying the letters wrong, then laughing straight after cos he was doing it wrong on purpose really made me laugh he’s so cheeky.

I had a lie in this morning

I played on Sims 4 and two of my Sims got engaged (They're best friends who are going out with two brothers)

Lying on the sofa with an ice pack over my eyes listening to relaxation music.

Me and my bf got matching key rings, his is mario and mine is Princess Peach

sitting in the garden in the sunshine watching my son play

had some nice samosas with my tea

I felt confident enough to take my son to the trampoline park on my own and we had a great time.

Listening to my son laugh at some random kids show earlier.

Knowing he’s now gone to sleep and I can do some sewing stuff for the next three hours listening to the Tattle Book Club’s book on my own!
