1. I had a sleep in finally
2. I woke up with less back pain
3. My youngest son starts his foundation transition today for primary school

Yesterday

Had a great pilates class
Took my daughter for bedroom shopping to IKEA which is usually torture but it was fun
Using up what’s in the freezer and found chicken and MacCain chips for our tea - fab

Thank you for starting thread two!

It may only be 7.21am but here are my three;

1) I didn’t have to get up through the night as my son slept straight through.

2) The sun is shining first thing this morning for the first time this week.

3) I felt a bit poorly yesterday and thought today would be worse but touch wood I seem ok so far.

Had a cocktail lunch with my family at a restaurant that looks out over the city

sat outside in my egg chair reading this afternoon

Finished reading a book that was absolutely beautiful

1, waking up knowing I've only got 1 working day until two weeks hols from work
2,having a whole afternoon to myself today with absolutely nothing to do
3,sitting in the sunshine and starting a new book

It's a long weekend and the weather's looking good for it

Getting takeaway curry tonight - my favourite

Managed to take a break from work this afternoon and read a few chapters of my book in peace with an iced coffee

It's Friday and it's my weekend off work so I can look forward to a lie in tomorrow.

My husband is coming home today after working away for a week.

It's takeaway night.

My boyfriend bought us all ice creams from the ice cream van

a friend messaged me saying she was sending me something to cheer me up in the post

I'm on top of all my work so won't feel so panicked going back to work on Monday, which in turn will make Sunday more enjoyable.

My dad and mum came over for dinner and my dad complimented the food I made - he's not one for compliments

My bf spontaneously grabbing me for a hug

Fresh nails day, I went with the purple shade that’s about for the Queens jubilee

My son telling me ‘I’m gonna miss you mummy’ when he went to nursery today

Watching on the spectrum USA with a wine

I had a lay in
I taught myself and the kids the Yum Yum Dance from Eurovision - Norway (Give that wolf a Banana)
Ive had some Ben & Jerry’s

Made my mum a birthday cake for tomorrow and despite is starting to crumble I salvaged it and it looks great.

I made macarons for the second time ever to decpratw said cake and they came out great!

I got asked for ID buying a bottle of wine. I'm nearly double the legal drinking age

Accomplished so much early morning
Had a nap in the afternoon
Went to a leaving party which was much better than I’d anticipated

Strolling through the fields

Chelsea flower show on TV

I had a great time playing in the garden with my son.

I slept in till midday after initially getting up for a couple hours at 5am with the child who decided he didn’t need sleep.

I’m pursuing a potential ADHD diagnosis and tonight I read through all my old school reports - seeing there were signs of it back then makes me sure this isn’t just a crazy idea.

Today my son was watching Matilda and when he saw the old librarian lady who helps young Matilda with her books, he said ‘mummy, look, it’s the queen’

shared a small box of chocolate Lindt with my son

worked at a wedding this morning, been a few weeks since I’ve made up a bride so was lovely

Yesterday
Stayed in bed due to a hangover (felt it a luxury that I could)
Had McFlurrie
Continued listening to my book

Went and fed the ducks with my son (there were a few babies and some slightly bigger ones that he was able to stroke)
Popped to Aldi and got jubilee party food
Relaxing this evening with a hot water bottle and Netflix

The new gardener turned up to mow the lawns

Sitting in the sun with my morning coffee

Realising I’ve still got another four weeks off work
